I've had MSV Hex soft and razor soft in it and both good. There is a youtuber called "James Strings" you is trying many Strings in the 300 100in, which does not differ too much from the 300s.

I know I’ve come in critical on the 305S. But what successful set ups have you folks had with modifying it?
I think the issue for me is: I 100% agree with people who complained about the iso and it’s high SW. for a 305 that’s not ideal.
The update kinda went speed pro level specs with out the extra 5 grams thus making it a bit anemic. More anemic than I would think.
I think the middle ground should’ve been more of the xtc SW/specs. Slightly shifting the weight similar to their DC and XTC models.

I have put about 5g at the top of the handle and then 3g at 12. Been loving it, still has the swing speed I am looking for but the stability and power is there now.

I’ve tinkered way too much with this thing. The only thing I haven’t tried is 3/9 and 12 set up.
I’ve had the leather grip with 4 grams at 10-2.
Leather grip plus a bump at 12.
Leather grip plus 2 grams at 10 and 2.
All 3 of those weights in the head and a cushion grip.
Currently adding some in the throat while I have some weight from 10 to 2.
