Just landed on this site somehow, and their prices are kinda crazy (like $75 for an APDC). Wondering if they sell fake racquets here. Anyone know?

Under their "Policy" link, it says (my bolding for emphasis):

Paypal only enable US, Canada, UK and Australia customers. All product are replicas, they are same with the picture of our website. Don't show the order on Paypal, because if Paypal knew our transaction product are replicas, they will confiscate our fund. In transaction process if you has any questions please contact with us .

I think that says it all.

I found this too under policy:
Although our products are comparable in style and Grade A quality to the original name brands. We do not claim or represent them to be original, nor do we represent that they are exact copies. Therefore, they do not violate any copyright laws.

Oh damn. I thought this would be the one place to get a deal. Thanks for spotting it though.

Man I just ordered 50 of each because I thought it was a great deal. I thought I had found the one place in the world that I could buy a new racquet for 25 percent of it's retail. Darn man!

Man I'm mad too.... I could have finally found a backup for my Aero Storm for a cheap price. I can't waste $200 on another racquet!!!

I guess it is too good to be true.

It would be funny if one of these turned out to be a really sweet stick. I could see the word getting around on the forums and people bidding them up like they were an original Pure Drive :)

I guess even the fake or "replica" tennis racquet dealers like to overcharge. It probably costs them $10 per racquet and around $30 to ship it internationally. So even at $75 per racquet, they're still making alot relatively speaking.

What an unfair way of getting peoples money...

I find this on the about us page:

"With authentic products and a sophisticated customer service system, tennis-wholesale.com has earned the best reputation among the online stores. We are a well managed corporation and the one company you can trust with all your athletic and collectible products needs."

and yet:

"2.All product are replica , they are same with the picture of our website.

3.Don't show the order on Paypal, because if Paypal knew our transaction product are replicas, they will confiscate our fund. "

Even if they say they are high quality copies there is nothing that compares to getting the real deal. Avoid dodgy Chinese websites everybody!

I think the thing about these websites and their buyers is this. People need to realize that there is value in buying from an authorized dealer. If you go elsewhere you may get a surprise later.

wow this is really messed up, one page on the site says "authentic" and you go down to the policy page and you find "replica" in red :(

Fake.

From the policy page:
"Warranty
Availability information is subject to change without notice.
Although our products are comparable in style and Grade A quality to the original name brands. We do not claim or represent them to be original, nor do we represent that they are exact copies. Therefore, they do not violate any copyright laws."

And you know how to write in Chinese? OK, headed down to Starbucks for a Babo-latte :)

Lmao. That's a good one.

As everyone said, really messed up. They say they are the most "respected" seller and have 100% authentic products. Go through the policies a bit and they talk about customs (another word for replicas) and copies.

I just know someone is going to get ripped off on this site sometime. There's even some guy that posted a comment saying he's happy with his APDC. Hope he knows it's fake...
