TF Icecode prone to break or bad stringjob?

Today I broke a string, on the second hit with my new TF40 305, strung with Icecode. I've never broken a poly before. I realize it could have been an unfortunate mishit, but isn't it more likely the string job was bad? Or is the string prone to breaking?

If it was a bad string job, how can I prove it? Since it broke so quickly I am in the mood to contact customer service. I uploaded an image and would be thankful for any help.

I ordered two TF40 305s prestrung from tennispro.eu. It worked very well. Besides this possible bad string job and the TF stencil that wore of immediately and stained the tennis balls. I guess they didn't use the right ink for polys?

It happens, check your grommet inside and outside for cracks or sharp edges around that location. The string could have been nicked by you or them and a bad mishit can do it. Either way, time to restring and try again.

Alright, thanks, friendly people, for your feedback! I'll leave customer services alone and just restring it - and hope it doesn't happen again, for a while at least. ✌
