Tfight 320 (16x20) vs Pure Control

Can anyone directly compare these? I will hit both side by side this weekend, but the early opinion is that on groundstrokes I am getting more bite, feel, spin, and control with the t-fight. Volleys and serves are tbd.

Though I do actually have the TF 320, I've never hit with it. However, I'm familiar with the PC (great for serving, great for b-lining as long as you've v/good topspin technique, not so great for net play, touch stuff, IMO.) Anyway, I, too, would be v/interested to hear ppls views on how these frames match up.

What do you actually do with the TF 320?
I use it as a tray to serve my favourite Earl Grey tea... I also use it to swat flys... actually, when my girlfriend gets on my nerves, I thrash her with it (also works well on the girlfriend's mother!)...

Er, no... I got it in a trade a while back but have been busy with a few other different frames since then and simply haven't been in a hurry to try it out - yet.

Any interest in selling that badboy?

Hit them both today and the 320 feels slightly heavier but also more solid, stable, and has more feel than the PC. THe spin is equal but more pinpoint and sharp with the 320. 320 is out to a big lead on groundies, will hit serves and volleys tommorow..

That ^ surprises me (I thought it would swing very light)... and impresses me, because something like a PC but with better feel and touch is kind of what I'm looking for... as long as it still hits deep, booming groundies... hmmm... guedoguedo, I'm now very interested to hear how it serves and volleys in your opinion. Keep us updated!

Sorry ZandyMan, I'm holding on to it for a bit!

one thing i stress the most after my few outings with the Tfight 320 16x20
The string pattern is not as open as the number suggest.

It is very solid, low-powered, medium spin, good serves, and volleys are good.

I'll throw in my 2 cents. I have been using the 320 for about 2 weeks now. I played 2-3 times using it as is and found it to be very comfortable, but too light in the swing weight. It was great for my 1 hand backhand, but for everything else (particularly returning serves against power hitters) it just did not feel substantial enough. So with that said, I bought some lead tape and started adding weight. I can't say exactly how much weight I added, I do not have a scale, but I put 2 inch strips at 12, 3, 6, and 9 on both sides of the hoop. I know this is a significant amount and changes the racket a lot. With the added weight...I do need to swing harder and faster on my backhand...but everything else is great. The area of improvement I notice the most is my serve. With the weight it is a beast. I'm probably bombing my serve at around 115-120mph. I serve and volley when playing on hard courts and I can not be stopped. Very solid on volley. The biggest thing with the added weight is just prepping a little earlier on my groundies. Overall I really like this stick (love the paint job) and will pick up a few more and add the weight.
