I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who have been helping me over the past week or two on what racquets I should demo in order to find a lighter/more powerful/less demanding racquet than my Prince Original Graphite Mid. Your opinions/comments/thoughts have been a tremendous help. Once I'm though with my demo sessions (probably around the first week in October...demo Gods willing), I'll put up a thorough review.

PS: I am going to demo: Yonex RDX-500 Midplus; Prince Diablo Midplus; and the Volkl Tour 10 V-Engine Midplus. I may end up throwing another racquet in there just to make four, but from the ones that meet my criteria, nothing really jumps out at me - ProStaff Tour 95, Pure Control 100, and Pure Control 97. I had the Pro Number One in there but have read “players possessing good volley technique will find a real strength here” (I’m a lazy volleyer and looking for a racquet that I'll want to head to the net with); I also had the nSix-One 95 and the Diablo Mid in the mix but both of them are heavier than my POG mid.

Ben, just for giggles try the ProKennex Laver S. Best volleying stick in captivity. I'm an ex-POG user, and totally converted.

Thanks Steve H. - I'll go check out the specs and user comments right now!!! I checked out the specs and see that it weighs in at 11.2 ounces. The only racquet I've tried for any length of time that was that light was the Babolat Pure Drive and found it to be one of the worst racquets ever (not blaming the weight)....does Laver play like it's 11.2 ounces or does it feel more solid than that? Thanks.

BaselineAce...thanks...I think :?: :D

In my original post I had the Volkl Tour 9 V-Engine....it should have been the Volkl Tour 10 V-Engine (it has now been corrected). Thanks.
