That PDR ping, any other babolat?...

So I've recently broke my 'worms' on my PDRs one day and I continued to hit (of course...) and I was again reminded of why I got the shockbusters, i HATE that pingy sound. ._.

I duno if I'd be getting a new racquet anytime soon, but are there any other babolats that dont have the ping? or any other racquet from any other company that plays similar ._.

I think the aero GT's have a very solid feel and do not need a dampener. People have commented on the solid feel with no ping sound. However, I have yet to hit with them.

Try other shocks don't just use worm shocks. they break after a while. i suggest trying babolat custom damp or head logo damp 2(the clear one)

i don't think i know of any racket that dosent ping w/o a shock

I too HATE HATE HATE the stupid cheap sounding ping. Once i put a rubberband around my PDR, it sounded like the pros!

Different strings also change sound of babolats. In Pure Drive specifically Big Hitter Blue and Cyberblue make PD much more dampened also Leather grip makes it very solid...

+1 on death's suggestion. Those 2 dampeners gives you a clean feel, while taking out some vibration and that annoying ping sound. It leaves you with a great pop sound.

Haha i realy like it although i use full bed of babolat revenge
i love 98 heads and 11.4 is the perfect weight for me red is also my fav color haha
ialso use the head logo shock, i might change to babolat custom damp because i belive shocks that arent semetrical dont dampen evenly on both sides of the racket
also looking to change to the pure storm

now back on topic haha
i use to use shocks busters
i gone through 3 of them before changing them. They break off causing the gel inside to leak. It stains cloths to
in my opinion it absorbs to much shock

yeh i have that pinging noise from both my APDC nd PDGT. but i really like the feel with no damper on my PDGT but i use an elastic band for my APDC
