The 2024-2025 NBA Season

I was at the game. Most depressing sports event for me in 5 years. Easy.
How is your hit rate going to the games?

I am currently 2-1 going to CBJ this year, I haven’t been to the Cavs yet.

Awful 4th quarter today vs the Pacers. There goes the win streak. Indiana is getting hot. We’re still 5+ games ahead of Boston in the conference. OKC still hanging around us. It’s clear us two are the big heavyweights this year. OKC are gonna be good for a long time with SGA. I hope we’ll continue to be contending for a long time after this season, and not just regress to a 4th/5th seed again.

good job by the Cavs getting revenge on the Pacers....once again lead most of the game but the Pacers kept fighting back with that intense defensive pressure forcing numerous turnovers, but Cavs fought back this time and put it away in the fourth...Cavs increasingly playing zone D which did bother the Pacers tonight...nice toughness from Garland playing through what looks like a knee contusion...see if he and the team are ready for the rematch against OKC Thursday

p.s. Mathurin kicked out for bumping the female ref

great, Mobley and Okoro sitting tonight against Minny, sounds like a planned loss...tough sequence for Cavs, from OKC to Phoenix to two with Houston

I think they had their full 12 less than 3-4 games this year, could be even deeper than they're lauded for, but hopefully this year at least healthy for the playoffs

nice bounce back win for the Cavs...took control end of the third/beginning of fourth against a gassed T-Wolves who did play in NY last night....great bounce back game in particular for Mitchell who outplays Edwards tonight...losing back to back games just not a thing for them this year other than against Atlanta

Idk guys those OKC games were pretty damning I think. Crazy what they did to them
you talkin' about the Cavs?...they split the two games, granted their win was closer

OKC was clearly pointing at that second game, wanted it badly...so much so they lost the next night as they had a letdown

Ah my bad forgot they won that first game

It felt like a loss in my memory because of how bad they shut down DMitch. That’s a serious problem, come hypothetical finals they won’t be able to just route more to the twin towers (trusting Chet and Isaiah healthy)

I know it's concerning, Dort in particular is earning the reputation as the guard hunter in this league, can shut down any scoring guard...and yes, Holmgren adds a whole other element too...but both these teams will need to win three best of seven series to even get there, so I would be grateful for just the opportunity if it comes to that

another easy win for the Cavs over the Suns...playing without Mobley, Levert, and Okoro against the healthy Suns...strange team, the Suns...Beal was invisible, Booker didn't really show, only Durant seemed to be focused, no defense....over half the regular season done now, 36-6

complete choke job by the Cavs, in particular Darius Garland, tonight in Houston....got a break late when he was fouled flagrantly on a three with three seconds to go down two...he misses the first two, and then the Cavs get the ball back and Mitchell misses a second last 30 second shot for a win...Garland, a 90% free throw shooter missed four or five tonight....first choke job on the year for the Cavs

dog days officially here for the Cavs...go from choking a game away against the Rockets to losing to the Sixers who had lost seven in a row...Sixers, one of the worst three-point shooting teams in the league, become one of the best for one night...both teams had many players out injured

Houston already in Cleveland waiting to hand the Cavs their first three game losing streak of the season tomorrow night

Don't worry they ruined my Chirstmas and Celtics/Knicks can't put two wins together. Cavaliers can afford brainfarts like this.
I'm getting a little worn out myself watching every game...I know they're going to be in the playoffs in April, just hoping they'll be healthy at that point unlike last year...Wade was pulled out of the game last night, he can't stay healthy for more than two weeks...they've lost four rotational players in a week with Mobley really hurting them

Yeah it's really tough to do every game. But I get it. I did every Celtics game last year. And losses were incredibly frustrating, even when they were far ahead of the pack the entire year like the Cavaliers are this year. So I definitely get it.

As someone who has watched almost every single Heat game for three years, don’t burn yourself out mate. Not worth it. If you care but you need a break, record and skip through the commercials the day after you’ll save like two hours anyway

Of course my return falls on the date that our heroic LeBron must travel to face the evil of the Golden State Demon Team in their lair.

I don’t think I even have to predict it, we all perfectly understand exactly how this one will go.

Using my jinx on this is pretty embarrassing.

Am I above it? No. But holy moly are the Dubs awful. Special shoutout to “clutch player of the year” Steph 0 points in the 2nd half :D

Cavs have bottomed out...if they lose to old coach Bickerstaff and the upstart Pistons on Monday it would truly be official
