The 2024-2025 NBA Season

I needed .5 pts+asts+rbds with 14 to go on a Beas game this season for like 10x payout and I swear not a single starter played a single minute in the entire 4th quarter and it wasn’t even a blowout it was 10 pt game at times

I don’t blame you for tipping off the authorities.

And Bruce Brown on a minimum AND they have the MLE my god. they’re so back. It’s gonna sound like UNC hype but Johnson is one of the best off ball forwards in the entire NBA and much more intelligent than MPJ. He’s gonna mesh incredibly well with Jokic

Better playmaker and defender too, cheaper, a little injury-prone but no long-term concerns approaching MPJ’s back. A little worse as a pure shooter but great move

I’m feeling so much better about the West now. 3 legit teams I trust who can beat Steph. Now I can actually enjoy the NBA for what it is

ton of NBA free agent moves

stunner...Myles Turner signs 4 year deal with Bucks...Indiana obviously taking a step back like Boston...Giannis appears to be staying

Cavs lost Jerome to Memphis, for less money than thought

SGA signs a max (71 mil per year, most ever)

Knicks get Jordan Clarkson

Nuggets get Cam Johnson for Porter and a first

Lillard buyout is the key thing...this is a Bobby Bonilla thing apparently...Lillard will be paid over 20 mil over the next five years to go away...biggest buyout in NBA history

Sad. He's unlikely to play next season.
brutal injury of course, but don't be sad for him now...he can rehab at his own pace and come back an unrestricted free agent all while being guaranteed over 20 mil a year for the next five years....best possible outcome for him

Nuggets swap Saric for Jonas, then sign Hardaway Jr.

More sweet than bitter, but really hits home the point that it never had to get as bad as it was. Happy the Front Office is done ruining Jokic's prime. Awesome first 24 hours.

I was just thinking yesterday "is Milwaukee lowkey a threat to make the finals?" even before they got Turner.

Giannis is Giannis and only the Cavs/Knicks look to be good, but neither are big-game teams.
Giannis apparently not initially happy about all this, but let's see how it settles in for him
