lol, tuning into the Celtics Pels game for a little bit. Celtics really runnin Simons + 4 white dudes right now. Gonna be a long year for them.
 
Had to scramble because Doncic is out, awww so annoying, it's not like footy when a player misses a game and maybe you could lose max 15 points or something.

Then I noticed all my bench players are getting like 5 minutes combined.

I'm just a guy who has to say

''I think I really messed up, Clyde.''

I'm sad.
 
Wanted to replace Klay and Flagg, but I'm all out of free transfers and it costs 100 points each! HA that really brings my comments about FPL into focus here. -4 for a transfer. :giggle: Yeah, I really did mess up.
 
Shockingly big game tonight in Miami. Southeast division lead on the line between two 2-1 teams. Miami’s all star frontline vs Charlotte’s bums, and at the same time, MVP candidate LaMelo leading the league’s #1 offense vs the Herro-less Heat. Add in the growing animosity over Rozier and it’ll make for a good atmosphere too. We’ll hear some chants tonight for sure. Genuinely compelling game for October imo. Good luck @InsuranceMan

I thought it was a great game. Both teams played really well up until somewhere in the 3rd where LaMelo started to get frustrated. Dunno if that’s what caused it tho but they kind of dissipated after that. Miami’s bench was great again, Bam solid, Davion anchored, Kel’el sucked Kirkbrenner or whatever that guys named is impressed and outplayed him. Nipple was good. Thought Sexton was fun to watch wasn’t a remarkable performance there were errors but I had fun with a couple of those middies. Zverev sucked. A lot to like. Atmosphere was definitely better than normal tonight esp for a Hornets game, I blame Terry.

You just named 4 one way players and they only accumulated those stats playing desperation helio ball because they have no chance of getting stops on defense. Plus the entire league is going off, league average TS is like 60% so far :D

Butler Kuminga Green Horford Moody Podz is an amazing and complete rotation. I’d easily take that over the one way selfish ballers Bron has

Yeah they are absolutely awful. I think I've heard pretty much all of the broadcast crews from free streaming sites and now league pass, but they take the cake for the worst. Complete homers, especially when it comes to Draymond. They make excuses for him or play down his antics all the time.

76ers crew is 2nd worse to me. Speaking of the Sixers...kinda funny how they're 4-0 with over 100mil typed up in Embiid and Paul George. A bit of a shame though cause if they had made different moves they could be a young promising team with potentially picks or cap space to fill out the roster. We'll see how the rest of the season goes though.

My way of asking Where Curry at? I listened to the commentators because I had GSW vs Clippers on in the background. Bloody playoff Jimmy stealing Curry's points, absolute disaster, but not for GSW.

Yeah, I think they looked good tonight, not relying on Cirry either, as the commentator said.

No I’m coping. The Warriors look truly unbeatable to start the season, not just me jinxing, they look actually elite. Surviving the Gordon devil magic showed their demonic powers to be at full peak, easily their best form since 2017.

Sadly, I don’t see anyone stopping them, so now im preparing myself for a world where Steph has more rings than LeBron, shutting the door on anyone ever overtaking the evil MJ as the true GOAT, the thought of it makes me want to stop following basketball altogether :confused: perhaps Wemby or maybe LaMelo Ball can pull me back in eventually but the love for the game is rapidly going.

I know you're half trollin but it's a long season, and they're an old team. Nuggies or especially the Thunder should be able to handle them I think.

Yeah the Heat’s offense was crazy. I knew there would be a lot of lessons from this game, Spo is a master and it was the 3rd game in 4 nights for my Charlotte bums so I expected some weaknesses on display.

Miami uses cuts and quick drives so well, everyone knows if they see even a shred of daylight to just go, either quick up with the 3 or attack the closeout immediately. Barely even needed PnR and they crashed the offensive glass well too. Jaquez was lights out and exposed the Hornets complete lack of a wing defender quite well, Bam exposed the Hornets complete lack of interior defenders quite well, and everyone else exposed the Hornets complete lack of perimeter defenders. The only guy who was bad was Ware. Felt like Miami went like 20-25 from 3 at one point they couldn’t miss.

Ah well. I agree it was shaping up to be a good second half but Im over it now

Seriously though if he wasn’t super duper uber washed this could be a fun team. It’s sad what he’s become. This is why I said he had to retire after 2023, it does him no real good to embarrass himself in big moments bc he has no legs and he’s 70 years old
 
I'm looking forward to Halloween on 2k. There is a trick-or-treat event in their city, and I hope to collect something other than 1,000 VC or a skill boost for stealing.

I think if he plays 50-55 games on 28-30 minutes he might actually have some juice in the second season.

I really should read instructions. I thought the captain's day was for the next match he plays, not the actual day. Oops. Lesson learned with the wasted captain's points. Some transactions made. I think I got a bench player in who actually gets some minutes, but it might be too late already, here in game week 2.

Kralingen is just too knowledgeable, just too much game. It's quite inspiring. :giggle:
 
5–2 record without Top 8 LeBron. Kind of weak with the schedule they’ve had. Give an old man a buffer for when he comes back.

You’d think a proper supporting cast like Podz and Kuminga would give them a 7-0 record in the same position, at least. Maybe 9- negative 2.

Tre Mann like his game, and would you go with Kalkbrenner or Diabate? I feel like Diabate is going to take the start as the season progresses. Both sneaky good by the Hornets wayyyyy better than that Mason Plumlee era you guys got away from

Aww, bless my bank. I'm glad they did what they did because those thoughts are right. I'm just not the basketball lover in paying 150 quid for a season pass sort of way, even though the schedule on Sky Sports sucks compared to how it was on TNT. We had games every night, double headers and all.

They will still let me spend too much on PlayStation Network though. Those builds, man. Then you end up realising this build isn't really much better than my last, in fact, he may be worse. Then it hits me, I'm just not very good at this game.

Or the NBA league game. I wasn't surprised to find myself bottom of the league
