“300”
25x Pull-ups
50x Deadlift @ 135lbs
50x Push-ups
50x Box Jump @ 24” box
50x Floor Wiper @ 135lbs
50x KB Clean and Press @ 36lbs (KB must touch floor between reps)
25x Pull-ups
300 reps total

I don't think I'd be able to get out of bed with that kind of workout, seems like its over training imo.

*vomit* I'd love to be fit like that but I just don't have the dedication. Not at my age anyway. Start paying me those actor salaries, then we'll talk business :)

From what the trainers described, I'd imagine that that particular routine is probably not what they start with. It sounds like they use some intensity ramping and microcycling in order to accomodate different goals and force continous adaptation.

The routine itself looks like something John Davies (Renegade Training) would recommend. Heavy emphasis on complex movements and functional training. Speed and agility training. GPP framework for overall conditioning. Secondary lactate threshhold conditioning to improve local anaerobic endurance and body recomposition.

Realistically, a normal guy would need a good 6 months of prep training (preferably with the above elements in much lighter dosage) before they could do something like this routine. But they could start on something like this in 6 months.

I'd imagine their eating regimen is very aggresive too. Lots and lots of O3 intake to avoid inflammation and cortisol overkill.

Good grief. That's reminscent of some of the workouts I did as a teenage Marine. :) 30 minutes in that guy's gym would have me taking up shuffleboard!

Seriously, thats all the motivation you need to get started in crazy regimens. If I had access to a gym like that, I'd probably do it either way, hehe.

Yeah, Gym Jones is friends with the "X-fit" people. So, similar approaches to attacking fitness and all that. Something like P90X is conceptually in the same vein, though obviously not as hardcore.

A lot of these schemes are built around GPP. And GPP is the most brutal form of training you can do. Also, the most lucrative. X-fit people are studs. They're the types that welcome sadistic things like The Bear.

This isn't a workout that they did every day, or even normally. Go read some of the stuff on the Gym Jones website if you haven't already. The 300 workout was a kind of test for the actors and stunt men. It was a challenge to see who could complete it and how fast. Not all of them were able to finish it.

I watched a bit of it and although the workout looks tough, it would be an insult to females everywhere to say that that guy throws a football like a girl.:)

Yeah I realized this after a little reading as well. Hardcore nonetheless. The 25x2 pullups will do me in alone, plus the deadlifts.

Many similar/better workout routines already available to the general public...

Check out BODYATTACK and BODYPUMP links for programs similar to 300 workout. My local Gold's has licenses to Les Mills programs allowing for these and other classes to be offered there.
