Where did you get those? I'm jealous.

First sought my eyes on the 90 prostaff when I was about 10, moved onto the ncode 90, then now k90.
Im glad to find other 90 sq. inch users since I dont see very many..

2x K90's

K90 - Gosen Synthetic OG Sheep 16 x Big Banger ALU Rough 16 at 58 lbs. each
K90 (#2) - Technifibers X-1 Biphase 17 [58 lbs] x Big Banger ALU Rough 16 [55 llbs]

#2 Im waiting to to recieve my Technifibers from TW, I cant waittttttt

I just picked up a old Prince CTS Approach 90. Great racquet, I also have a RDX 500 Mid but the Prince plays alot more to my liking.

I usually use 98-100inch heads, I used the approach for the first time today in a doubles comp match and went ok. Framed some volleys though.

i was just about to come on this thread and ask if anyone uses the AG100. OMG Sampener i envy you! oiii there are places you can buy them, but...shipping is a bi*** >.<

Nick can rejoin the 90si club when TW begins selling the AG 100 next month! ;) CC

CC im in the UK so have been able to get them for a while now! :)

I got mine when they first came out in the wrong gripsize then sold it...never got in much time with the frame...shame really.

Nick

is that k90 a fake? because i have never seen a k90 come prestrung and with a W dampner, also as i recall k factors dont come with covers
The Asian versions come with covers, and used to come with a "W" dampener (as did the US version).

Hey guys.. I was playing with the K blade tour and Decided to try out the K90 a couple of days ago and loved it. I bought it yesterday and let me tell you one thing... IM IN HEAVEN!

(And to think of all the time i wasted with other rackets! :( )

K90 user here.I usually string with full poly(Cyberflash 17 or Tourna Big Hitter),but I decided to give Vs/Lux hybrid a try, just for the sake of comparison.

K90 user here, NXT 16 @ 25 Kg

Experimenting now with 2 PS85 I got from an auction site.

Maybe I'll switch clubs to the 85 one .... maybe not... :)

Asian K90 modified: leather grip removed, lead under the handle and at 3/9, Tournagrip only, 349 grams, 5pts HL. Luxilon BB Ace 18 at 63#. The best feel I've experienced from a frame. Period. ;) CC

Hey Craig,

Isn't that a bit lighter than you used to have your AK90's set up? I thought you had the static weight at around 12.5 oz., the same as your US K90's? Maybe I'm wrong?

Does anyone think that many people use the K90 or PS85 just because of whos used it?

I'm sure its a great stick for some people and it might just be the best stick for your own game.

But there seems to be a lot of K90s on the courts theses days. Ever think ppl ever use it just for the looks or for the feeling of using a racquet that a great player used?

Nah....not a chance! ;)

i must say....i idolize Federer and thats the main reason why i bought the k tour. i did get a chance to demo out the racket before i bought it as well as many others. as time progressed i was able to adjust my game to the racket and besides that accidental mishit every now and then my game has never been BETTER!!!! my friends think its a placebo affect LOL

Haha!

BreakPoint I think players that are in your situation should be the only players really using midsizes. By that i mean players who played with wood and are used to such racquets and changing would hurt their game.

Otherwise about 99.9% of the tennis population needs to stop trying to imitate Fed and Pete. tennis equipment is very specialized for playing levels and styles, its not like lacing up a pair of Air Jordans

I think by 50 years they will no longer be midsizes on tour, probably even sooner.

Yes we will but not on the ATP Tour.

The juniors today will be the pros of tommorrow and very few use traditional player's racquets anymore.

The racquet companies will probably like this because its easier to market a Pure Drive sort of frame than a K90 sorta of frame to junior players (who buy the bulk of new racquets).

The Mid will die off as the game's new players pick up frames more suitable for tommorrow's game.
It's gonna happen.

WTF is with 90 sq inches. They are too demanding, so lighten up with a lightly customized head LM Radical.

Now after both of my strings pop on my radical, i use my k90.
And WTH? I have been playing 4 days with it, and everyday my shots are sniper good.

WHAT IS THIS LEVEL OF UNPRECEDENTED CONTROL?
THIISS IS MADNESSSS!!!!

^This is a great question^

Do they give us more control? OR do we give them more control?

I'm all for heavy, but with r35p3ct to headsize:
I feel the same way about 93 heads, compared to 98s.

Well, I'm looking forward to trying the 90 headed Ag100s and also the 95 Babolat Pure Storm Limited (which might just be a nice compromise).

^^ I'd love to get my hands on a MW 200G 90" but they're practically non existent. I'm somewhat interested in the AG 100, however I didn't like the AG 200 at all, so my expectations aren't that high. Might be a pleasant surprise though, I'll find out when TW gets some in.
