The anomaly called Jannik Sinner: first in the ATP Race 2025 with only one tournament played after three months of the season

Winner Sinner

Hall of Fame
Who would have ever said to Jannik Sinner, when he accepted the three-month suspension from the World Anti-Doping Agency, that just over a month after his return, not only would he have given up very few points to his rivals, but he would also remain at the top of the Race (the ranking that counts points per calendar year and is valid for the ATP Finals at the end of the year).

In other words, the Italian is the player who has obtained the most points this season (2000) having only participated in the Australian Open. No other tennis player has managed to accumulate a greater haul, despite having played the Middle East or South American tours, in addition to the two Masters 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami.
An interesting fact that highlights two clear aspects: the instability of the men's circuit and the extraordinary consistency that the current world number one shows when he is on the court.
This paradoxical situation shows how dominant Sinner was in the first part of the year, managing to conquer his third Grand Slam title in Melbourne. The forced absence from the courts did not allow his opponents to close the gap, highlighting a lack of continuity from the other top players.

Sinner prepares for his return maintaining a position of strength that few could have predicted at the time of the suspension. When he returns to the court, he will have the opportunity to further consolidate his advantage, starting from an already impressive base considering the limited number of tournaments played.

Didn't he play the last 9 months of last year as well?
I imagine you would have liked it, so that hypocrite Djokovic would most likely have already achieved his 100th title in Shanghai.
But why limit ourselves to the last 9 months of 2024, let's extend everything retroactively starting from the 2023 Davis Cup semifinal through the 2024 Australian Open semifinal.
So maybe Djokovic would have one more Davis Cup, his 25th slam title, and indeed his 41st Masters 1000.

At this stage, the Serbian hypocrite is legitimate for him to beg for titles.
Which he also did a little at the Olympics by winning the gold medal in a draw where the world number 1 at that time was not present, who is the same number 1 today.
In any context, when the number 1/main reference is missing, any result feels a bit incomplete.

it is much hipocrises about nole. it is true! he is the only player who was banned for NOT taking a shot! but you as a sinners fan can probable not understand it.
No, those who have no knowledge of the various regulations in force can refer to any anomalies.
And you are one of those who do not know the regulations in force.
And it is no coincidence that you represent a fanbase irritated by the fact that Sinner with his escalation made you end the party when you thought you still had a few hours available to continue having fun.

i think that all noles fans are very pleased with his accomplishments. he did much more than any of oss (exept his father) has tought. and, unlike sinner, it is not asterisk in his succes!

Lol, as widely expected, your fanbase is already trying to be maniavantistic using the asterisk theory in case Sinner at the end of his career were to achieve more success than the Serbian hypocrite.
So if that nightmare scenario for you materializes, we will be here to pity your resentment while you try to cling to the asterisk theory, exactly as your fanbase does towards Fedal's fanbases when they try to mislead the numbers issue.

Take note, the end is near.
Sinner simply will not allow Djokovic to reach the goal of the 25th slam.
A declining version simply can no longer get the better of a version of himself as a young 2.0.
People like you, and especially the Serbian hypocrite, know this very well, and for this reason your goal is to burn the earth around the Italian tennis player.

Here in our parts they say that those who win celebrate and those who lose explain.
And you have had a lot to explain in the last 15 months regarding all the failures of the Serbian tennis player.

karma is the *****. rafas fans was very cocky after AO and RG22 and under covid time. everybody was so happy with lot of damage pleasure vs nole. but it was last time they was laughing. they are not laughing anymore.
fed said that noles FH winners in 2 consecutive USO on MP was not clutch but lucky shots by a desperate player but that could be worse, could be final. and karma comes at him at W19.
sinner know what he did and the most people with some clue knows. karma knows.

Karma started to act at this moment;

The moment when Sinner administered to Djokovic the same poison that the hypocritical Serbian used to administer to his opponents.
As you Djokovic fans will always make fun of the challenges with Federer as a strangler, we will do the same with you by mentioning this episode in which Djokovic strangled himself disappointing his country that was already looking forward to the second Davis Cup.

Djokovic who had not lost a singles match in the Davis Cup for over 10 years.
Just as Djokovic had never lost a semifinal at the Australian Open before 2024 riding an unbeaten streak of 10 semifinals, the last 4 of which without conceding a set.
But then Sinner came along to spoil the party and end his reign.

The fact that Djokovic is currently riding a streak of 6 consecutive sets against Sinner in which he has failed to get a single break point is quite indicative of the edge that the Italian has over the Serb at these respective stages of their careers.
If Djokovic doesn't retire soon, he risks becoming Sinner's pigeon, assuming he isn't already.

yes, DC that plays in italy, directly after WTF that also plays in italy with italian player, who tested positive to doping twice by play anyway, in the finals all decided by italians who rules the ATP.

The usual conspiracy theorist, lol.

A whole conspiracy against Djokovic, the man who lives in the hyperbaric chamber, and who in 2011 began to dominate the circuit from nothing by only implementing a corrective in his diet discovering that he was intolerant to gutline.

If we want to play this conspiracy game, don't think that you Nolefam are exempt from controversy.

When you talk about karma, always be careful not to make easy irony about the Sinner case, disavowing the opinion of the competent bodies called to investigate the case who have precisely excluded that Sinner's will was to intentionally use prohibitive substances to improve performance, you never know that within a certain number of years, not necessarily when Djokovic is still active, a bubble of silence could burst.

Why do you suddenly call Djokovic hypocrite?

Sinner wanted nothing to do the drug testing at the Olympics! That was the obvious reason he skipped!

Lol, another conspiracy theory.
Consider yourself lucky that Sinner didn't participate in that Olympic tournament, otherwise I'm not so convinced that Djokovic would have fulfilled his dream of Olympic gold, given that so many dynamics would have changed in the economy of that tournament.

Zverev can play 20 tournaments if he wants, Sinner can rest easy knowing that the German will never surpass him as number 1 in the rankings.
:D
He did last year and couldn’t even sniff Sinners shoelaces who only played on average 1 tournament per month to rest his delicate body.

Fair, 23-year-old, ATG just starting out, vs 37-year-old, playing out his string!

Are you always so fair? 14 year gap, and Fed loyalists complain about 6 year gap!

Your comment makes no sense, because no one is saying that the current Sinner is challenging the prime Djokovic.
When I say that Sinner will not allow Djokovic to win his 25th slam, I am also basing myself on this age discrepancy between the two.
Even when I mention Sinner's latest victories over Djokovic, or that Djokovic risks becoming Sinner's pigeon, I am reporting facts.

Life is a cyclical thing, Djokovic's reign ended with that defeat in the Davis Cup which was only the anticipation of what would be seen a few months later in Melbourne.
These are also facts.
No one blames Djokovic at his age for no longer being able to challenge the current Sinner, if anything it is those who delude themselves that he can still win a slam who forget that in a few months he will turn 38 with an increasingly worn out physique.

In your statement, nowhere could I find the references to their disparate ages!

But what does the age difference have to do with that consideration of mine?

If Sinner had been present at the Olympics, Djokovic's chances of winning would have been lower.
This consideration goes beyond age, because once again, no one would blame Djokovic for any defeats against a future ATG who is 14 years younger, but since that age difference exists, that's why I say that you Djokovic fans should consider yourselves lucky that Sinner did not participate in the last Olympics, otherwise the dream of a gold medal would have risked not materializing for you fans of the Serbian.
The allusion to injustice should be made when someone tries to fairly compare the current Sinner with the current Djokovic, not when you are told that the current Djokovic can no longer compete with the current Sinner, precisely by leveraging the age discrepancy.
The age discrepancy exists, no one is stopping Djokovic from retiring if he feels the challenge is no longer equal.

Seeing as Sinner has one 250 clay title, I’d hardly think his non-presence at the Paris Olympics had any bearing on the outcome.

Sinner will loose a few spots in the race before his return.
But he is now 99% certain to retain #1 in the ranking. Zverev should win all three tournaments ahead (Monte Carlo 1000, Munich 500, Madrid 1000) to take #1, and this is close to impossible.

Seeing as Sinner has one 250 clay title, I’d hardly think his non-presence at the Paris Olympics had any bearing on the outcome.
And who knows why, despite the fact that he currently boasts only one 250 title on clay, the bookmakers, looking ahead to the next Roland Garros, put him as the second favorite of the tournament, ahead of the reigning Olympic gold medalist, as well as three-time winner of the RG, plus various other Masters 1000 titles on the surface;

Chap was given the softest ban and then after it starts all his rivals started being mugs, he is probably at home laughing his head off.
This last 3 weeks shows that Sinner will be #2 for a very long time.
Djokovic is nearing the end. Alcaraz while better on clay and grass at this point looks loss on HC.
Might be up to Fonseca and Mensik to challenge Sinner
