We take it that "lead with your buttcap" refers to the lag and snap.I'm going to offer the opposite of what's asked -- unless you hit like Tomic, the most misleading piece of advice is to "lead with your buttcap", causing many to overemphasize the element and end up with faulty swings. Focusing on the legs, weight transfer and contact point is way more important.
