Just a quick question. Have you ever tried actual custom orthotics in your shoes? Ones made from molds taken at an orthotic office or physician office? Just curious if you had what you thought the differences were. I have custom orthotics and always seem to need another pair for different shoes I need to wear. Boots, walking shoes, tennis shoes, etc. Right now I am either rotating them into the shoes I need to wear or using older orthotics in them.
Custom insole is always better, I have one that I paid $500 for it. I need it to keep the Plantar fasciitis from coming back so I use it when I play competitive high level 4.5 or above matches. I wear Protalus when I just go jogging or walking with my dog.

So you have not used the Protalus in your tennis shoes to play tennis?

it would be best for tennis. I only wear orthotic for tennis cause I have PF that almost ended my walking days that was cured by that orthotic
I had some leg issues and orthotics helped a lot. I had surgery for one of the issues but I had knee issues. I have to have great shoes, not jusy okay shoes, and good inserts. I play 4 to 5 times a week now where as before I could only play once every two weeks because of the foot, knee, and leg pain.
