What would you consider being the best light tennis shoes between Adidas adizero Feather 3 and Asics Gel Solution Speed?

I need a shoe that has the best comfort and support (similar to Barricade 5), but as light as possible.

In the same weight class of these shoes is also the Yonex PCD. It has a lighter listed weight than the Feather 3 and is heavier than the Gel Solution Speed.

Don't know how it matches in fit to the Barricade 5.

The Vapor would be an obvious contender here. None of the lightweight shoes are going to compare with the Barricade V in terms of durability.

I meant that I am after the stability and comfort of Barricade 5, not the weight.

After all I placed an order for the Asics Gel Solution Speed, but now I see that the Adidas Barricade 8 is also on sale, at 90$.

But 3.2 ounces more it's too heavy for my needs.

Per the TW product pages, the Feather II is 13.1oz and the SS2 is 12.8oz. The Vapor 9.5 is listed at 13.6 oz.

I tried on the Feather II but didn't buy because it was just too plasticky for my taste. I prefer the SS2 and Vapor 9.5

Personally, I don't feel the .8 oz difference between the SS2 and the V9.5. I mean it's only a 6% difference. Keep the V9.5 on your list if you like light and fast shoes.

I will say that I think the SS2 may be a bit more durable than the V9.5. But the 9.5 is just so sweet.

Regarding Yonex PCD / Yonex SHT 254D the weight listed in TW is 12.9 ounce for 10.5 US. As I have heard many suggest to get half size smaller shoe so the weight might be even less for an actual 10.5 US size.

I will be getting the new SHT 254D in a week or so. It should be the latest model. I can comment on the weight then.
