pretty much infinitely too soon. He's a great already, not ATG but a great, but let him win sunday and get the calendar in Australia NEXT year and he'll be just behind Agassi.

of course its too soon, it wouldnt be a hot take otherwise, im not normally into predictions but man, he plays such joyful tennis that i said **** it, im calling it, if it bothers someone its just extra points
 
And people call sinner fans obnoxious. He couldn’t even dominate the “Old 2”. Every match has been contested at the very least or he’s lost and he’s been in the danger zone all year at the slams against trash bums

If he had “best ever” talent it would have shown already. He would bagel his way through slam draws and bagel Oldal and Oldovic like they were nothing

the fact that he makes matches entertaining is also a factor why he would be considered the best, in tennis you dont tie, you win or you dont, doesnt matter by how much, but it does matter how beautiful tennis you play while doing so

he definetly wont get straight setted like sinner, and you dont get to a wimbledon final missing a leg, just like you dont play 5 setters against med if youre injured

Carlos may end up a /lendl/connors type talent. That’s probably his ceiling. If he gets real lucky may match Borg. Very freaking talented but nothing unique. Nothing we haven’t seen before on a court. Not GOAT talent


Definitely not some prodigy like a Nadal or something

He lost to Federer and Nadal only in Slams from AO 2007 to RG 08. 6 consecutive Slams losing only to them.

Alas, when all is said and done, we won't (hopefully) be here, so what does it matter to us? I am jealous of TTW users in five billion years after the oceans have boiled and as the sun is expanding in the sky and the entire Earth is being cooked and the last member of this forum turning to dust beneath the cosmic rays who will be able to type "Hahaha, yessssssssssssssss, Alcaraz is the GOAT!"

If he wins least 2 slams every year for 10 years he has a good chance.!

Now he has a three slams,so that is,so the age of 31,he would have 23 slams.!!

If we assume that Alcaraz can play until the age of 35, he has a chance to beat Djokovic's achievements!

But this is a very optimistic version, but I would take it coldly... hah

There are so many things that influence a player, so it's better not to make such predictions...

hes shown it, but he show it on the court, you cant see it if you only check the scores, when you watch him play you can see hes something very special, and honestly even the best ever doesnt win every match in his first years, thats just not realistic, hes done pretty good though, but the best is yet to come, imagine

Typically for these GOAT players they will do couple of 3 majors in a year.. So, that target will start looking more and more closer as years go by.
 
lol im just laughing remembering how a month ago a lot of people were saying how the tour had figured out alcaraz, yeah they really did, just with a little tactic they could stop him

he won 14 slams in the French Open, which means he prevented another player from winning a slam 14 times!!!

In addition, winning 22 slams in total, subtracting 22-14, he has 8 other slams, this is a very crazy achievement.

If there was one more slam on clay, maybe he had the most slams of any player in history!

Okay, I flew away, but Alcaraz also has a chance if he can dominate some slam.!

That is too short sighted. How can you “trouble” Djokovic’s OH? It is very weak but how can you exploit that weakness? Luring him to the net and do a lob? Also, you cannot really exploit Nadal’s serve, it is just that it is not a weapon.
Raz may have less weaknesses than them on paper, but they make up for that by being stronger in other departments.
