the best that´s ever lived

pretty much infinitely too soon. He's a great already, not ATG but a great, but let him win sunday and get the calendar in Australia NEXT year and he'll be just behind Agassi.

this is better

of course its too soon, it wouldnt be a hot take otherwise, im not normally into predictions but man, he plays such joyful tennis that i said **** it, im calling it, if it bothers someone its just extra points

And people call sinner fans obnoxious. He couldn’t even dominate the “Old 2”. Every match has been contested at the very least or he’s lost and he’s been in the danger zone all year at the slams against trash bums

No… Carlos will never be the best ever. If there is such a thing. He’s not a rare talent or find or something we haven’t seen before. He’s a great player playing in a crummy era

If he had “best ever” talent it would have shown already. He would bagel his way through slam draws and bagel Oldal and Oldovic like they were nothing

hes won against the old two in his second year on tour, in fact he beat them back to back to win a masters lol, invalid argument, thank you, come soon

If he had best ever talent he would have bageled them both and they wouldn’t even make it competitive at their age. Dude is 4 tall and serves like a woman half the time. Come on. That ain’t best ever material

the fact that he makes matches entertaining is also a factor why he would be considered the best, in tennis you dont tie, you win or you dont, doesnt matter by how much, but it does matter how beautiful tennis you play while doing so

ok, a bit of a hot take, but today im feeling it, here it is: Carlos alcaraz will be the best tennis player who has ever lived when its all said and done, we just dont know it yet.
4 down, 21 more to go! The best player of 2020s and 2030s ladies and gentleman presenting one big Carlos Alcaraz.

Come for the tennis

Stay for the poetry
Does djokovic avoiding Federer every year? Even is if you want to argue this, it’s must know that djokovic went is avoiding Federer. Because Federer is retired, djokovic has did its and this again and never plays him anymore. Stats:

Djokovic last played Federer 2 years ago but he last played Nadal just 4 months ago.

So this is wants to you beg the question: does Djokovic avoiding?

ok. If he has best ever talent surely he would hand bagels and breadsticks to djokovic missing a leg tomorrow in the finals. If he can’t throughly dominate him, I dont know what to tell you at this point. Not at Noles age. No excuses why he can’t now

Federer would. Pete would. Nadal would with Djoker in this state. Let’s if Carlos can

he definetly wont get straight setted like sinner, and you dont get to a wimbledon final missing a leg, just like you dont play 5 setters against med if youre injured

How did I miss this piece of art? it should be part of the Venice Biennial. Maybe win a Nobel prize as well

@ojo rojo

He lost to Medvedev and Zverev at consecutive Slams. That damaged almost all the confidence I had in him.
who did young djokovic lose against? and federer? even nadal, and those are in the conversation, truth is alcaraz is miles ahead of djokovic at his age, and i dont mean only results, i mean in game, he is just more proficient at tennis

Carlos may end up a /lendl/connors type talent. That’s probably his ceiling. If he gets real lucky may match Borg. Very freaking talented but nothing unique. Nothing we haven’t seen before on a court. Not GOAT talent

Definitely not some prodigy like a Nadal or something

He lost to Federer and Nadal only in Slams from AO 2007 to RG 08. 6 consecutive Slams losing only to them.

Alas, when all is said and done, we won't (hopefully) be here, so what does it matter to us? I am jealous of TTW users in five billion years after the oceans have boiled and as the sun is expanding in the sky and the entire Earth is being cooked and the last member of this forum turning to dust beneath the cosmic rays who will be able to type "Hahaha, yessssssssssssssss, Alcaraz is the GOAT!"

If he wins least 2 slams every year for 10 years he has a good chance.!

Now he has a three slams,so that is,so the age of 31,he would have 23 slams.!!

If we assume that Alcaraz can play until the age of 35, he has a chance to beat Djokovic's achievements!

But this is a very optimistic version, but I would take it coldly... hah

There are so many things that influence a player, so it's better not to make such predictions...

To the best ever he would have already shown it basically. He would have demolished OLDal and Oldovic every match already.
hes shown it, but he show it on the court, you cant see it if you only check the scores, when you watch him play you can see hes something very special, and honestly even the best ever doesnt win every match in his first years, thats just not realistic, hes done pretty good though, but the best is yet to come, imagine

Typically for these GOAT players they will do couple of 3 majors in a year.. So, that target will start looking more and more closer as years go by.

lol im just laughing remembering how a month ago a lot of people were saying how the tour had figured out alcaraz, yeah they really did, just with a little tactic they could stop him

Yeah I agree,look at intersting thing,Rafael
he won 14 slams in the French Open, which means he prevented another player from winning a slam 14 times!!!

In addition, winning 22 slams in total, subtracting 22-14, he has 8 other slams, this is a very crazy achievement.

If there was one more slam on clay, maybe he had the most slams of any player in history!

Okay, I flew away, but Alcaraz also has a chance if he can dominate some slam.!

Nadal never had a great serve
Djokovic has a sloppy OH
Federer's BH can be troubled with moon balls.

Nothing can trouble Alcaraz.
That is too short sighted. How can you “trouble” Djokovic’s OH? It is very weak but how can you exploit that weakness? Luring him to the net and do a lob? Also, you cannot really exploit Nadal’s serve, it is just that it is not a weapon.
Raz may have less weaknesses than them on paper, but they make up for that by being stronger in other departments.

Happy new year from Tyson Fury may have been passed by Djokovic's gooodddd nightttt
