The Big4 has arrived = Nadal, Medvedev, Djokovic and Alcaraz

Order yet to be determined, but those are the big4 :happydevil:
Djokovic hanging by a thread, so Big3 most likely Nadal, Medvedev and Alcaraz.

Was within a whisker of winning back-to-back hardcourt slams over Djokovic-Nadal (and in straight sets!), so I don't see any problem :happydevil:
Most likely will win USO and AO back-to-back at some stage, and has the game to match-up with Alcaraz, draw errors from Alcaraz....

He's 26 right? That's getting old for a player below GOAT Tier

can't go deep on natural surfaces, won't play Wimbledon as long as Putin is alive...he will have his chances on hard but he is a male Osaka

Medvedev can absolutely win Roland Garros, wins nearly all his RG matches in straight sets, so he'll always be knocking on the door and probably win a couple :happydevil:
Destroyed Alcaraz last year at Wimbledon too....
He's a machine, no problem with longevity.
I trust Medvedev's longevity more than I trust Alcaraz's longevity.
 
Now that there's a more realistic view of alcaraz after rg and a few wins at Wimbledon, it'd be interesting to see a comparison of alcaraz vs the other 3 across various areas of the game atm - fh, bh, ros, shot tolerance, staying calm in big moments, etc. Say a rating of 1-10.

E.g. alcaraz, nadal, djoko, med: 7, 8, 8, 7?

Alcaraz is a level above Medvedev. He just needs to improve in shot tolerance and point construction.

Medvedev is a human backboard but doesn’t really have enough power to dictate rallies like Alcaraz

Big 4 was based on the fact that Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray were making all the semis and finals of all the events, not just the slams. These four had basically taken over the whole tour, there was nothing left for anyone else.

This big 4 you mentioned isn't quite up to that standard.

Osaka has 4 Majors titles, 'Shaggy' only one.
The Russian would like to reach that number of the Japanese player.

It's still Big 2 + everyone else

But Alcaraz should round out the 3 soon, and then there's room for one more. Will probably be a rotating spot between Zverev, Medvedev, Tsitsipas.
 
Medvedev is a notch above Zverev/Tsitsipas, who probably won't ever win slams.
Medvedev is the favorite in all hardcourt slams :happydevil:
He destroyed Djokovic in straight sets at the US Open Final, and he very nearly beat Nadal in straights at the AO Final.
