hey all, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa, for the break in momentum here. i haven't had a chance to get on court in a while because of work, family, etc. but was able to steal away for an hour yesterday as my father's day present and finally got some footage.

@gino spec'd this thing to 355 SW, so that's fun

on its way to @Seth at the end of this week.

i'll try to get more/better video before the week is up and will supplement if so.

Strokes and that beautiful court both look great. Hope it was a fun hit and some inspiration to maybe customize another 95 in radical to a similar spec

Thanks bro! The flex profile on this thing really threw me off (I can't articulate these things as well as you do). Definitely love the idea of weighting up a Ti.Radical or a Liquid Metal Radical though. Big fan the head shape and string pattern on all of these.

344.1g static, with the strings, damp, og, etc. I don't know where my balance board is atm...

totally man, to those unfamiliar, the fxp rad throat is like rigid in some spots, but the overall frame response is still relatively soft

a really unique one, not at all similar to the LM, i/ti, microgel in that sense. makes for a fun hit though

inspired by this mod, I've already added a boat ton of lead to my ti/microgel rads. i.radicals are next!

I'll be hitting on Friday and it will really test my tech skills in getting a video.
Lead at 12oclock feels so good on a racquet.

Hit for an hour today...
For how beat up this racquet is, man it still feels good.
So classic but a nice bit of pop.
I'm sure some of that is due to the weight at noon but still, very nice racquet.

There is zero doubt why people think Head lost their way with the last several generations of the Radical.


My camera work was shoddy, so I have to sift through and see what's usable. Some I'm out of frame and so forth. Also going to try and get another hit in Sunday before shipping out to the next person.

Yes, my serve motion is funky, but effective. Recently more so because I hurt my shoulder and it is a slow recovery, but also because I mostly just go for extreme kick.
Lastly, I'm comfortable with my level and if you want to talk $h!+ either post a video of yourself OR come and play me. I'll be waiting

Noticed the Rog Pro 2 on clay and Vapor 9.5 syn leather on hard.. not to mention that awesome Rafa crew. Great choices. Cheers mate, appreciate your headband as well. So I was super excited when you revived it.

Plus it is a humbling experience to not just video but then post it. An exercise we should all endure at some point

Feel free to restring mate ! It has topspin cyber flash 17L right now, but don’t mind it you throw something else in there

That was good string, never used it before. Have to grab a few sets for myself.

Awesome dude glad you enjoyed it. It’s amongst the softest polys in the TW database. I’ve been using it for about 10 years coming off of golfers elbow and it’s been quite sustainable. Strung anywhere in the 42-52 range

Fast feeling grav pro a really good comp for the feel of the weighted FXP
