It really does look like a pen ink no question. The only spray paint I had was semi gloss . But still better than gray
Should have just used stencil ink ,. Next time for sure . Been easier and less dry time too!

Oh wow I like the look of that much better. Did you prep the surface at all or just spray over the original paint?

I might just be in the minority, but I like the Clash paint as is. The paint is a little on the softer side so you have to be delicate with the racquet, but I always take care of my equipment.

Wonder since I’m a Wilson advisory staff pro would I have an “ in”
Hahahah. I wish . But would I have to move to chi- town . Brrrrrrrr
You have as good a chance as anyone. When I look at Wilson's racquet graphic designs over the last few years I often wonder what the designer did with the other 23 and a 3 quarter hours that day.

Same here. I like all of the color-block paint jobs from Wilson better than any other racquets that have swoopy, busy splashes of color everywhere.

Ok so here’s how it happened!
So the gray paint is rubber paint . Which I do not like . Sensorial issues for me. No joke . When I touch certain surfaces it reacts as if I scratch a chalk board . Rubber paint kills me and newspaper hurts too. Any paper with a heavy pulp can’t touch it either . Phone book paper is the worst . It’s embarrassing.
Any way . I couldn’t touch that rubber gray paint so I decided to kill it .
All I did was tape off what I didn’t want black . And spray painted with crappy paint from the $ store . But I agree it looks better . Have another mrt buddy did it too but he painted the whole hoop black ! Looks cool too pics to follow .

Yeah man I don’t quite understand what the graphics dept is tryin to accomplish with the graphics ..
Simple is cool but they at least should kinda make sense .
Better than some in the past . There for awhile it looked as if they hired a nascar team to do their art work . Very blue collar . Not very interesting .

Looks like wilson website does not allow to custom paint all the models either. Your paint looks much better, pro stockish

Wow those look awesome as hell!!!
Great minds an all!!
The black and green is always so nice
Thanks! Your spray paint look is also pretty sharp. The semi gloss makes the whole frame “pop” more than the gray. Wilson should have gone for that look imo. I have some V7 Blades in original paint as well and after 2 months of usage the gray is peeling off steadily.

Hah!! Funny thing was It was the only paint I had at the time and was too cheap and lazy to go buy matte black paint . So I did it purely on lethargy . I’m actually considering doing a glossy clear coat over the whole racket !?
Thought ?
A super shiny clash ?

I think that would look super sick!

All of Wilson’s current pjs look so much better with glossy paint, I can’t believe they’re not transitioning over to it. Especially since it’s so easy to spot when pros are using a pj.

Agree especially at night during the us open . All shimmering and pretty .. but seems like rackets and cars are going matte finish .. me no likey....
But I’m old school, I even like silver rims on cars still , hate black rims , even tho it’s a much better color as it doesn’t show black brake dust but still
