And @Chas Tennis Just last evening one of my coaches told me to close the racquet more on both wings, first on my 1HBH and then on my Eastern FH. I was hitting lights out( past TE) and at times, missing long.

Did you change something else also? If not, wouldn’t closing the racquet face cause lower trajectory? Were you hitting long before?

Maybe knowing it was more closed freed him to swing.

Very interesting result. For you to see the details, it's a good time to video some of your old and new shots. You might use some hand signals right after the shot to indicate how good the shot was. Thumbs up, etc. Ball out, Ball in net.......Racket tilted closed, Racket as original....
