Looks lovely - So does the latte.

Disclaimer - At best, my artistry of lattes are something akin to a section of a Mark Rothko painting, namely the rear of the canvas.

I'm glad you broached that subject.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has never tried any of the "'veg' 'milks'" - I use Lactose-Free - But certainly there are others in Our Coffee Club who have.

Opinions?

Greetings again members. Wow, can you believe it's been a whole 15 years since this thread was created?

Anyways, as many of you might have noticed, it is the holiday season. This means that we will be getting lots of $5 dollar gift cards to coffee shops. And I'm okay with that.

I've been thinking about a new mug to house my caffeinated elixir. We recently got some mugs at work from a forced company pep-rally thing. They are bad mugs, so I need ideas for a good mug. So, members, what are your mugs like? I think we discussed earlier in the year about some tennis mug memes, like a picture of Andy Murray (see avatar) with the words "Coffee MUG". I kinda like that. But what are some other ideas? It doesn't have to be tennis related.

Thnx

Currently imbibing Nescafé™ Azera™ Americano©, which is a "tasteful blend of instant coffee and finely ground roast coffee beans, that gives you all the qualities of your favourite barista coffee. The full bodied flavour, enticing aroma and irresistible aftertaste of bitterness that can only be achieved through ruining the lives of African babies."

Tastes alright for an instant coffee.

What are you doing to your coffee to make it more christmassy this yuletide? Inspire & bedazzle me.

I have never been an assiduous (or even occasional) coffee drinker, but a very sporadic one. It's only recently I got into iced coffee. I do like it, but I think I can do without it. It's just a question of figuring out whether its benefits outweigh its drawbacks for me (health-wise). I hate hot drinks, so my coffee of choice is iced coffee.

Civet's excreted robusta selling for an exhorbitant sum [$$$$/kg] is alright, in a sense...what isn't alright is the civet's digestive tract percolating [wet processing] unknown strains of bacteria and enzymes that quite possibly jump-started Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome.

Kopi luwak, anyone?

The antidote for this SARS would be to drink a cuppa Kopi Suriwak with its "producer" after He has consumed an entire AYCE buffet line. Your white blood cells will skyrocket in activity.

This is one heckuva b-r-e-a-k-through, all-natural formulation sans fabricated medical technologies [to upholster the cost], produced and sourced direct from the backside tap. Best of all, no one is going to pay through the nose again, ever!:D:oops:

You'll pay through the nose, alright, but it won't be in the form of currency.

I started a long journey into espresso a while back and have a decent setup at home. I find I do as well and better than many places. For me, mostly I like straight espresso shots, but I do macchiato when I make my wife her lattes. I like doing my own because I get to try different beans and flavors.
