Unforced Terrors
Rookie
The epic tale continues! Part 1
For the third year in a row, Captain Hook's 4.5 team reached the final of sectionals. In 2022, he fell to the notorious Captain Orange and in 2023, he narrowly lost to Captain Stallion.
But 2024 would be different right? Captain Hook decided to join ships with Captain Stallion to take on the return of Captain Orange, who took to the high seas and laid low in 2023. Comfortably winning their way to the finals, both super teams would meet in an epic showdown.
Note that Captain Orange was on the roster, but let his protege, a young and equally ambitious Captain DuJour, take the wheel.
Both sides drew swords on a sunny day at a high school, reliving their past glory days of organized competition. However, Captain DuJour had a secret weapon. He had a singles player that was a 4 star recruit and played Division 1. This guy is so good that they had him purposely lose every second set so that he would avoid detection. He even beat another "ringer" that got DQ'ed and double bumped up to 5.5 during the playoffs. Oh, you can imagine Captain Hook's fury upon realizing that he had been bamboozled once again.
With the sandbagging wind blowing against them, Team Hook/Stallion put up a decent fight, but fell short in the end. Maybe 2025 will be different.
