Man, i am so lucky!! I bought two i.prestige mp, which is the PT57E in retail form in mint conditions!!!:D:D:D

Great Thread, @vsbabolat !!!

How light was/is the Lite Tour 630? Would it make a good platform for mods in a way that the retail PT630 wouldn't because of it's already high static weight? They seem a little cheaper on the bay...

Lite Tour 630
i.Prestige MP
Lite Tour XL
and various Pro Stock models

I got the radical bumblebee 630. They are good but the hoop could be stiffer. Very soft. Feels softer than the 58 RA it measured. If it were around 65 RA it could very well be my main racquet.

Does anybody know what is inside Soderling's handle? It is so weird! I never seen something like this.

HI Vsbabolat, since you are so good in gathering pictures, actually many pros used the Radical tour 260 MP/trisys 260 during the 90s, and probably more than the blue PT57a

It's a custom handle by P1 without a buttcap. I know it looks it is made of wood. The dark spot is actually a hole where the silicon (or somekind of other "magic") was injected.

I still find it infuriating that Head will not re-release this racket considering how many pros are using it. So, in order to buy it, we have to spend hundreds of dollars on decades-old rackets or buy pro stocks customized for other players. Silliness.

It's really bizarre how many players choose this racquet over the entire rest of the Head line consistently. For many many years.

I don't really know a lot about customising tennis rackets but it appears that a lot of the men featured in the above pictures appear to have lead at 3 and 9 o clock on their rackets. Is this common among men on the pro tour? Would they have lead hidden under the bumper guard at 12 too?

Yes. The PT57 pro stocks start very light and have silicon added in the handles and lead under the bumpers by the pros' racquet techs.
