True story, though.30 euros?! me no believe!
Lots of warm days with friends enjoyed with those...True story, though.
Seller was just selling some old racquets of het late father (in law) or something.
There were 3 Babolat Pure Drive teams and the 3 PT630s. And an old Wilson K factor racquet bag.
This was the only picture of the racquets in the ad. All the others were of the babolats.

Goran used Mid 89.5 his whole professional career.relatively new to this matter of rackets
Now I see, thanx!Goran used Mid 89.5 his whole professional career.
For these older, 95 sq in Prestiges I've enjoyed lower tensions like 20-21kg with shaped polys such as Solinco Hyper-G.I repost here:
Hi, everyone!
I have just bought this racket today after testing it for a couple of days - i.Prestige Intelligence MP, mint condition. It's quite demanding, but rewards with incredible solid shots if executed competently. Love the feel when it launches the ball.
My question is: what strings and tension would you recommend for it to make it play, say, more flexible or feel a tad softer?
Now it's strung with Gossen (if I made that out correctly), I am not aware of the year there were made. Might be better with other strings, do you think?
and couldn't help but ask... have you heard of any lead recommended? LOL but still....
Thank you in advance, folks!

YMMV but for full bed poly in either a 125 or 120 string I have been using it at 40 to 45 lbs depending on string. Then I also enjoy gut/poly at 48/45 give or take. Sometimes a full bed multi/synthetic 48 lbsI repost here:

(Sadness)[Andy Murray has left the chat.]
I have a Pt57A and the latest racquets I've bought are the Yonex Ezone 98 and Ezone 98 tour, lol. What a coincidence.
Jokes aside, it really is. Who else is left? Popyrin?end of an era
He went to Dunlop.Jokes aside, it really is. Who else is left? Popyrin?
Its not over, we still have Koepfer Dominik, hanfmann yannick, cerundolo francisco, Aslan Karatsev … and Murray will be back. Trust me, it’s not that easy to quit an addictionWow, so it's really over then? 30 odd years at the very top of the sport. Not many rackets can claim that.
I just bought a head radical zebra mp. Strung with leather grip comes in at 366g 32.1cm 357sw. Whats going on?
Candycane = 330 SW strungTodos os primeiros MP Radicais (4 deles) que encontrei tinham mais de 350 SW - casal, mesmo com syngut
Did someone fit the CAP on it?I just bought a head radical zebra mp. Strung with leather grip comes in at 366g 32.1cm 357sw. Whats going on?
NopeDid someone fit the CAP on it?
Exactly! There are plenty of pros still playing with them! Not everyone can hit TGT344.3 on the court! ..Bhooooo!Its not over, we still have Koepfer Dominik, hanfmann yannick, cerundolo francisco, Aslan Karatsev … and Murray will be back. Trust me, it’s not that easy to quit an addiction
I’ve tried a lot of racquets and I always come back to the PT57 racquets. I just enjoy this racquets the most. And way do I play, to enjoy, not to be the next NR1 in the world!Murray choice made me think. My PT630 Made in Austria (capped) has been my racket of choice for 20+ years. Only few years ago i swapped it for a PK Black Ace Pro (and some other PK sticks here and there).
This thread was opened 8 years ago- in 2024, does it still make sense for a Club player to use a PT630? I dont have an answer myself. I just cannot leave it in the closet for long and just keep (re)stringing it despite little court time. It has really been outperformed by modern frames? Are the users just under the spell of a sort of nostalgia effect, or is it still truly magic?
I wonder this myself. I have one last PT57A 16x19 I never used and a pair of PT57E’s that I’ve been hanging on to. I don’t know if I should sell them or not. Is there even the same market for them that they used to be? Or should I just take one out for the occasional hit? I know I can’t play competitive matches with them anymore.Murray choice made me think. My PT630 Made in Austria (capped) has been my racket of choice for 20+ years. Im potentially interested in taking those off your hands if you decide to part ways with them.I wonder this myself. Have to agreeThat is what I do- i use it from time to time, but that is the mistake. I should stick to it and get reused to it. I remember that when it was my main, i could not use any other racquet as it just felt inadequate/inferior. we cannot just pop it out and pretend that we click into it after weeks spent with lighter/stiffer/hollower frames...it as to be either an "all-in" or an "all-out"!
what do you mean?Ezones 98 are the new PT57
This is just not true, no player that previously played with a PT57 derivative frame is now paying with an Ezone 98. The closest to this case is Andy who used a PT57A and is now using an Ezone 100.Everyone that would normally used PT57 in the past, are now using YY Ezone
Tried one 98, didn’t really liked it because of the string setup…had way over muted feeling for my taste.
I recently tried one again with RPM and I really like it.
Never tried Ezone 100, but I don’t really like the look
I have played with both and kind of agree. the difference in swingweight and feel is quite significant.I think any Ezone is pretty distant from a PT630, but like "big time", at least this is my personal opinion
I didn’t mean they are similar, but if a few years ago we had Wilson vs Head, now everyone went the Yonex route, and those that still use Head, they play with Speed mostly. This is just not true, no player that previously played with a PT57 derivative frame is now paying with an Ezone 98. Tiafoe and Shapovalov used Wilson before Yonex.I didn’t mean they are similar, but if a few years ago we had Wilson vs Head, now everyone went the Yonex route, and those that still use Head, they play with Speed mostly.
Back in the days mostly WTA used Yonex, while in the ATP we had few, like Rios, Krajicek, Hewitt, Nalbandian…after Wawrinka switched from Head, it took a few years until juniors using Yonex turned pro, like Tiafoe, Shapovalov, Ruud, etc
Now everywhere you look, inside top 100 ATP and WTA, Yonex seems to be the most used racquets, followed by Babolat and Wilson.
Head is actually the most common brand among the ATP top 50. There might be a lot more Yonexes in the bottom 50 - I don't know.I didn’t mean they are similar, but if a few years ago we had Wilson vs Head, now everyone went the Yonex route, and those that still use Head, they play with Speed mostly.
