That collar shouldn’t have been on that racquet and you had the wrong butt-cap. The previous owner put those on the racquet.
I find it also quite possible for them to have been changed back in the day (I would assume the prestige pro seeing how similar the handle layouts are, but maybe I'm wrong) but even if that is the case they are being replaced now.

The rubber collar that was put on your Pro Tour 630 that disintegrated was form the suspension grip of the Prestige Tour 600. They were notorious for doing that.

Very interesting, I thought they looked very close to my prestige pro, the collar and the buttcap, but turns out they are from the prestige tour. Thank you for the information and for resolving this "mystery".

The butt-cap was not from the Prestige Tour 600. The butt-cap from the Prestige Tour 600 was clear plastic to show off the suspension grip.

Anyone who can help me with specs? Its too heavy now. So....
Change cap grommets (tk57) for radical grommets decreases weight by almost 10g.
What are the lightest grommets?
How much will this change the balance (now 31.5) and swingweight (now 307)?

Hi guys. I'm in PT57A club now too. Have bought Head Radical Tour 630 Bumblebee. Decent racquet. One regret that there is no 16x19 version. I don't why but it reminds me mix of the power and feel of nSixOne Tour and the control of Blade 98 2015.

Thanks! Racquet is on the way to me. It seems i made a good business.
Couple of things, not trying to kill your excitement:
1) looks like the Youtek, not the Innegra PJ. Therefore, it would be 238.4, not 293.x for the retail.
2) As VS mentioned, it is the PT57A, however, the first Chinese batch of the PT57A, second half of Youteks (First half actually has the "PT57A" printed inside the throat and was done in Austria) were "harsh" - did not really feel like the PT57A...

Nevertheless, enjoy it!

It has ig prestige paintjob and the black sticker's number starts with D. I will check the numbers under the pallet. Anyway for 100euro with shipping it was a good business.

Duh, I am blind ;)
D = 2013.
Didn't they introduce graphene prestige by then? Could be 2014 as the prestige line is always the last update
Innegra prestige was introduced in 2011 (B), A = 2010, second batch of Youtek Prestige (eliminated Code in the throat).

Great deal you got there!

Don't know. I have an ig radical paintjob with C. If the radical line comes earlier than prestige it can be D i think.

why not...on a 6yo frame that already exchanged hands X times??
That player is probably retired already
Hey my friend. You are totally right, could not agree more. But then why is a (very welcome) super Head Kennelbach close (Head employee?) SF member so interested in this number? If it does not give more info than the one I and you think it just describes, why at all asking? What is so interesting about it?
To share something with us in this forum about the prostock world? fine, welcome... :)
If not, I would not share here any number of the many many Head prostock you (and I) bought, enjoyed and sold.

Enjoy!
Best

Hello. Need some help. I have a head pt 630. Is this a pt57a?
http://www.imagebam.com/image/f343361324083269

As mentioned, the photo you have uploaded is a Head Radical Tour 630 (also known as The Bumblebee), which is coincidentally a PT57A. If you do have a Pro Tour 630 (PT630), which is blue and black in colour, it would also be a PT57A. They have different Balance and weight distribution set-ups, so have a different feel when playing, but are both great racquets.

Thank you very much. Its 355g strung with overgrip. I have also the 690 version. But this 630 i feel its way better in control and very stable. And i dont feel the weight so much.

I think the approach to getting the PT57A brought back to the retail market has to change. It is very clear that the people in control of Head Tennis have absolutely no interest in providing what we (paying customers) want. It is completely pointless to try and engage with them, they are so far removed from the ethos that the brand was originally built around it is beyond a joke.
There is now a factory in China which makes PT57A's which feel like the original PT630's. It's time to cut out the middle man and go straight to the source before any trade deals are signed and further protections on IP are attempted to be enforced.

Hi. After some more matches with my first bumblebee 630 i'm very impressed. I also play with bumblebee 690 and prestige tour 660. First of all the 630 felt very stable. All shots were ok. Its 355g with 32.5 balance strung, 22/22 msv co focus. Bh slice was low and penetrating, fh was very good. Control was very, very good. The raquet felt whipy on fh. The plowtrough was very good, hitting some deep balls. Spin was good too. I could hit the service where i wanted. I played some 10-15 raquets in 3 years time but no raquet felt so good. The feel, control were too good. The prestige tour 660 is my main raquet and i give it 8 /10. But 630 i give 9.5 /10 because i felt nothing wrong. And no pain or fatigue on my arm and played 2.5 hours matches. The 660 has 340g strung.

I scanned a few pages but didn't find anything regarding a question I have

@vsbabolat and other PT57 fanatics

does the YT MP d3o fall in the PT57 family? and what did you think about this frame? It hits the scales lighter than my PT57E. I have a pair of the YT MP with the d3o hologram on the throat. I was trying to find pictures online of the IG version to compare cosmetics with my YT. I keep hearing the YT IG was a great frame

What are the key elements to look for to determine if it is a PT57 besides taking off the pallet or seeing a visible PT57 marker on the throat. I'll compare my iPrestige and Bumblebee MP for similarities and look at them next to my YT MP.

The PT57E has different grooves in the throat bridge than the A. You could have a TGK238.4 which is the YT Prestige MP. Take a photo of the grooves at the throat bridge and take a photo at where the grommet channel ends.

It seems there's no top player with PTs on tour. have PT's time gone?
Do you know if nextgen uses classic racquets?

Popyrin is using a PT57a with a 16x19 pattern. 364 swingweight and 331 grams strung - silicone in handle... what a beast of a frame, unreal mgr/i and polarisation.

I belive Robin Haase is still using it (sadly he switched in 2018 to pt57a from pt10).

As for next gen, Hubert Hurkacz was using pt57a just before switching to Yonex. Previously he was using TGT 293.2 so pt57a is still viable option if you are good enough to force Head to give you something better than default IG.

After the French Open Haase switched to Radical TGT307

That’s not a PT57E. Take a photo of the side of the racquet where the CAP grommet ends

My PT57E is the iPrestige...which you'll also notice the cap grommet ends are different. I replaced them with what I could find after they were worn through.

Appreciate your help. I'm still trying to figure out the tell tale signs of a PT57. I read your post about the way the groove is on the throat.
