The Definitive GOAT List

This article, omg. Just the two bits I stumbled upon, but there's probably more.
"2019 is a crucial year for the Serbian national and it’s going very well so far — in April, he triumphed over his longtime rival Rafael Nadal to win the Australian Open."
"Swiss national Federer, who is currently [May 2019] ranked at No. 1 in the world..."

The level of journalistic competence is over 9000!

Edit: just understood what he actually meant with the 1st one. Well, not everything is lost here.

You also learn interesting information from the list like the fact that Agassi was the first player to win all four slams in a calendar year since rod laver and that Djokovic beat Nadal at Australian Open in april.

Lol. Well you posted it. :p

Agassi - Success didn’t come early for the Las Vegas native, but his hard work paid off and he ended up being the first man since Rod Laver to win all four Grand Slams in one year.

Andre accomplished a hidden CYGS, people.

It shows Pete don't need to have more slams than Novak to be ranked ahead... so we can now start putting Djokovic ahead of Nadal?
**** it

Why do you have such an unambitious scope

They're giving free reign to **** **** up

Roddick >> Federer

Why?

Because Roddick served in Nadal's face.

Duh

Chang's placing triggered me slightly not going to lie...not sure how he could be above Courier at the very least.

He cannot be placed above Vilas, Kuerten, Hewitt and Courier, that's just absurd. He was not even ranked #1 (the only player on the list who wasn't) so I doubt he could be placed above even Roddick. The writer is obviously a big Chang fan and got a bit carried away.

His CYGS was more hidden than his actual hair  I do love Andre though, one of my all time favorite players!

I do love Michael Chang, but that was rather underhanded of the author to have him above all those guys you mentioned.

"Rafael Nadal comfortably at No. 3 on our list. He has incredible power and speed, and if this was a ranking of the best clay court players of all time, he’d likely be in the top spot"

likely?

likely??

Too many ridiculous things about the list to even go through them all but funniest of all is Chang at #20 ahead of Kuerten, Vilas, Hewitt, Courier, and Wawrinka (who didnt even make the list).

Despite his off court impact Ashe ahead of Wilander, Edberg, Newcombe is way off base too.

Djokovic behind Sampras, and Roy Emerson at #12 ahead of legitimate 6 or 7 slam winners are quite comical too.

On an extended list he would be behind everyone they already listed, and also behind Wawrinka, Safin, Rafter, Kafelnikov, Bruguera, and possibly Stich, Ivanisevic, Kodes, and Muster. So anywhere from #31 to #35. This isnt a true all time list, it is obviously looking at only players in the Open Era (and somehow forgetting Rosewall even then). I doubt Chang would even make top 60 on a true all time list.

No way Chang should be above Courier. Needless to say there is much more I disagree with this list.

Yeah I mean there's a ton of stuff that's wonky that's just the first thing I saw. Obviously Rosewall is too low, Ashe is too high etc...

It gets better.

Agassi won four Slams in one year, Djokovic won AO in April, Nadal would likely be in the top spot if they ranked clay court players...

I don't think this site will be triggering anyone after this. :D

I didn't even read the bio's man lol.

That makes me feel slightly better :p

I stopped taking this list seriously as soon as i have seen Emerson ranked higher than the likes of Becker, Edberg or Wilander...after that this "list" stopped being relevant! LOL And it doesn't look like an all-time list, more like an open era one...where the hell are the likes of Gonsalez, Cochet, Hoad, Krammer, Lacoste, Borotra, Tilden, Perry, Budge etc...? But you have Roddicks, Changs, Hewitts there instead! LMAO Such a joke!

Why would you post anything from "the delite" anyway? It sounds like a page for cat ladies

I guess they tried to put all americans in there are, only Vitas Gerulaitis was missing

Nadal won slams on ALL surfaces, has 18 slams vs Borg's 11, Nadal won more tournaments overall, Borg was finished by age 26, Nadal has won slams as a teen, 20's and 30's. Just my opinion, but arguments for other ideas. Lendl vs McEnroe is a tough one too.
