Even breathing with a cracked rib is hard. I doubt that story very much.
I have doubted very many things about the injury record and career of Rafael Nadal, but like many things, you have to see it to believe it. And we certainly have seen continuous miracles from him and a certain Serb these past 20 years. Plus, it was probably just a small stress fracture. Do you really believe a total mug like Taylor Fritz would be straight setting a non-crapola Nadal?

Fritz is a Top-5 player now. Total mug?

So who isn't a mug? Djokodal and that's it?

It all depends what the Bull does this clay season. But even if he manages to catch up, Djokovic still has a few masters in the bag imho.

The race is over. Not because they cannot win anymore. But because Nadal and Djokovic dont really care at this point. They have won enough and. Nadal can be 2 behind Djokovic , or 2 ahead , it's one and same to me. Unless Nadal wins the tournament he hasn't win till date, that will add a feather in his cap

I don't think they care too much about this race. It's all about slams for them at this point.
I think they do care, but not even close to slam race... Isn't it great to be mentioned at least 9 times every year, during currently occuring editions, as masters record holder? Off course slams are first in their mind and they won't put in danger their preparation for winning masters... I think that Nadal also know that Novak would always put extra effort to win few if needed to stay in front...

Of course they care, prestige &ranking pts wise Masters are right behind GS&ATP finals Sure they won't go to win at all costs , but to say they don't care is ridic.

Nadal will be lucky to win ATP500 from now on, let alone another masters! LOL In his conditions i would already think of planning my retirement...Novak on another hand can get 40 this year alone and maybe get like another 5 or 6 until reminder of his career!
