Well mate I think its better as a fantasy. I would love to see it come true obviously but I really fear for Roger stepping on clay. Its a tough decision considering all the things that has transpired with him skipping Clay last year and winning Wimby and him taking up Montreal and injuring the back. Also the consequences of the decision for his career, his form, Wimby around the corner, Nadal's form, Nadal's record on the surface, Roger's knee, the fact that his career might be very close to the end and a thousand different things. I guess we will never know what is better. Moreover the guy knows best. I think he should listen to his heart.
And about this statement he made I feel its more of a wish than a realistic scenario from his side. But who knows?? Fed's the GOAT at proving people wrong.
True. I come from a science background, the idea of finding something that disproves a theory is how you progress towards strong ideas.
Fed has been disproving theory about modern tennis quite a bit recently, it’s wonderfully exciting.
He knows what’s best for him, if it happens to result in a clay season I’d love for him to go about trying his new game, and wish him all the success with it.
