T21D Semi-Pro Oct 7, 2010 #8 The -posite trend didn't catch on as a good basketball shoe either d/t lack of breathability and narrowness. I don't know how the tennis versions were or are, but it's a nice collection piece and shows how tennis shoes have evolved.
