The baker in best form over the 52 weeks is Mr. Sinner, which has baked the most and got nothing at all in return. Mr. De Minaur is a bit of a surprise there but has done plenty of good work, while getting more gifts as the legendary Master Baker Mr. Djokovic and the newcomer Mr. Alcaraz. Mr. Musetti did also put in some great effort while still waiting for his greatest work so far to finish in due time.

It is astonishing how little bagels Novak got over all his career, obviously the numbers there are not easy to compare. Tennis Abstract has a recency bias.

He is legit.

Nole has maximized his game with very less safety now. Still more than Federer post 2016.

While sinner being 22 years old has a lot more safety and is letting numbers like these. Only when you are playing at full capacity week in and out this will happen.

I think Sinner's numbers are hugely dependent on his post USO run but the run is now in it's 4th month and only legit losses he had were to Djokovic in Turin and Shelton.

But sinner is yet to peak so 25 might be just a stepping stone for him. He has a great year ahead of him and can put some big bagels on clay vs players.

Last 52 weeks matches played

Djokovic - 60
Alcaraz - 82
Medvedev - 84
Sinner - 79

Bakery per number of matches
Sinner 25/79 = 31.6%
Djokovic = 31.7%
Alcaraz = 21/80 = 22

In fact Nole is leading the percentage but barely while Raz despite being clay court beast is lagging both by a huge distance. It doesn't help Raz that he got double breadsticked by the goat at rg and also got breadsticked in Wimby final, USO semis and AO quarters.

See the pattern
won Wimby
Lost in semis of USO
Lost in quarters of AO

Downward pattern observed for alcaraz. Breadsticked in all of his last 4 slams.

Djokovic has highest career bread sticks in slams.

And just 1 less bagel than Agassi in slams.

Most likely he will hold that record as well.
