I can't wait until Wimbledon.
Welcome back, Hitman. Hope your recovery is going well. No more training in the desert.
So hyped for this Wimbledon, a lot of potential there. Hopefully the top two seeds clash eventually with the Heavyweight Champ winning #5.
The heavyweight champion equalling Borg would be insane, consider how people used to tear
Oh God, I can already see a thousand threads on whether winning five in different years is better than winning five consecutively......
Attempt a humor?? cause LMAOOOOOJust hoping Federer avoids Berdych. Dude has been absent basically the whole yr so his rest is a huge advantage heading into WimbleBerd.

Great thread Hitman. I still don't see Fed as Djokvic's greatest challenge - even on grass.
If Nadal doesn't lose early (and that's a big IF), a Djoko-Nadal SF would likely be closer than a Fed-Djoker final. (Assuming Nadal lands on Djoker's half).
Birdman to send Ned fishing.Just hoping Federer avoids Berdych. Dude has been absent basically the whole yr so his rest is a huge advantage heading into WimbleBerd.
The reason why I speak of it is that the further into the tournament Djokovic plays Federer, the better. .
I do agree with this. Federer shouldn't really be #2 seed, Djokodal are clearly the two best players right now and should have a face off in the final if it would come to that, not before.
Get well soon @Hitman
You mean better for Djokovic and bad for Fed. Right?
Once the courts are worn out, there is no way Fed can hit through Djokovic.
The reason I say Nadal would give Djokovic a harder match is not because Rafa is better than Fed at grass. But because Fed most likely won't be able to hang with Novak for a BO5.
You are aware of how grass seeding is decided, yes?
Based on the way Novak slips and falls on grass , it ‘feels’ he is undeserving of 4 titles
But what can we do ?
You have to shove those feelings in your rear
Ha, ha. Nobody can imagine this.Imagine this: Zverev wins Wimbledon 2019.
They are exactly the same. One points to consistency and the other to longevity. But 5=5. Yet I’m sure many posters will end up arguing for the interpretation that makes their favorite player look best.Oh God, I can already see a thousand threads on whether winning five in different years is better than winning five consecutively......
Time to see if what even I thought was beyond comprehension once upon a time, a fifth Wimbledon title being held up high by the defender of justice and freedom.
I'm not whining, it's just that it doesn't feel like Fed is ahead of either of the 2.
Earth's Mightiest Warrior will be happy to see that development, as I am sure so would Fed. Time to see if what even I thought was beyond comprehension once upon a time, a fifth Wimbledon title being held up high by the defender of justice and freedom.
Wimbledon is where Novak has risen like a phoenix and with Federer ideally on the opposite side of the draw, the time is now. Time to unleash.
Haven't been posting due left arm triceps tendon tear, but getting better. Hope all of you have been well.
What I would have given to see prime Goldberg vs Orton.
#5 is an appalling thought, however.
Fed did both. 03-07 and 03, 07, 09, 12, and 17.They are exactly the same. One points to consistency and the other to longevity. But 5=5. Yet I’m sure many posters will end up arguing for the interpretation that makes their favorite player look best.
Cue fed favouritism threadsOne massive advantage playing into Federer's hands by being on the opposite side of the draw to Djokovic, I doubt Federer will be moved off Center Court this time for the entire duration of his time. Last year, Djokovic had only played once on Center Court before the quarters, this time round he will play the entire first week on that court, so when the time comes for the second week, I fully expect Nadal and Djokovic once each to play on court one for the fourth round and quarter finals.
Federer will not being moving off of Center court for this entire campaign.
Only an advantage if they keep the agrarian baseliners off CC.One massive advantage playing into Federer's hands by being on the opposite side of the draw to Djokovic, I doubt Federer will be moved off Center Court this time for the entire duration of his time. Get well soon @Hitman - how did you hurt yourself?

Tunisia actually sounds more interesting that the medical jargon Hope you had a good time otherwise. I am assuming that you are not in too much pain (or rather, you seem to have a higher threshold than many). Its good to see you back.Thanks. Check out post 17 and 54.

The ones where the storms made it a disaster to shoot? There is a pretty good story behind the Tunisia film set.Thanks. Among many things I wanted to see where they filmed the Tatooine scenes for Star Wars.
Very glad to see you back, @Hitman, you were missed around here! Hope your recovery is speedy and thorough.
lol I thought that was pretty clear, unless I'm missing something. Can't even remember when Berdych played last!Attempt a humor?? cause LMAOOOOO
Not for Wimbledon .
Cry a river
Federer deserves to be considered No. 2 on grass for seeding purposes. I have my own disappointments about it, but no matter.
All eyes on the draw. Hopefully we don't get too much early draw destruction and Nadal, Djokovic, Federer, FAA and Co are all still alive and kicking in the second week.
Also really hoping Lopez can ride the high from Queens and have a solid first week at W. Last time he won Queens he had a big emotional/physical hangover. It's been great watching the smooth grasscourt stylist all week in Queens and we are running out of chances to watch him play. One of the last grass specialists left on tour.
