The J011yroger Guide to Racquet Selection.

Try the Volkl V1 Classic. It is a " master of none, jack of all trades". I was in a sort of similar situation some years back. I wanted to pick up tennis again after recovering from a few injuries. I felt I needed a newer racquet. I took a few lessons from a pro at the club. He was using the Volkl V1 Classic and loaned me his Volkl V1 Classic to use. I enjoyed it right away.
I used it for a couple of years to get my game back then switched to a more demanding racquet. I still have the Volkl V1 Classic and use it every now and again. Still a great all around racquet.
Thanks for sharing. What about it did you outgrow? Where was it lacking and what did you switch to?

It was not really lacking anything. It was an OS racquet that gave me confidence to restart playing tennis again. It was helpful getting my strokes back. I got better at playing and went up playing different rankings. I needed a more precision racquet. I switched to the C10 Pro Tour , a 93 sq in head. It was what I needed to play against the players I was up against. I used it for many years. They stopped making it so I had to find another one to use since I basically worn the C10 Pro Tours out.
