The Lacoste Club

I've been following every season, and they haven't released a headband publicly (online) since 2013-2014 (I have two). Maybe at a slam boutique or something...here's hoping they will actually release them as part of a regular collection!
Still looking for Lacoste headbands

After a few months with this bag, it is great. Must say I’m a Lacoste fan but not a joker fan which leads to awkward conversations when everyone says nice djokovic bag. I try to nicely point out the brand‘s history prior to joker.

Too expensive and the quality is not really superior. They are, however, very stylish.

I can be the best-looking guy on court at a fraction of the price, but the raw material is there.

And the trouble with club tennis is that no one really pays that much attention to style.

The young's idea of style is to buy a Pure Drive and dress in all Nike, and the young do try.
Amen to all that . 100000% agree . Sadly .. but I do concur ..

What I hate is when I find a kick ass Lacoste polo to wear on court , only to find out upon a closer look that it’s made out of cotton ! Damnit .

Some of the sport stuff is cotton, but majority of it is polyester. Also, I'm going to disagree with Bart. Lacoste quality is much better compared to say Nike, especially considering the price points have gotten much closer over the years. They were charging $100 for Nadal crews for a while. Rather get a Lacoste shirt for thta kind of money. Material feels better, no fading/cracking logos, and usually better colors and styles.

Another thing I wish Lacoste did was give US THE LARGER CROC APPLIQUÉ like the ATP and the Wta folks get on their stuff ..
So .for those of y’all that don’t know ..
Back a few years ago now a lot of the Lacoste tennis polos came with a larger croc .. now from what I’ve seen is the new vinyl croc is staying small on everything ….
I have yet to see the new plastic croc appliqué any larger than the OG Size ..
Hopefully they will start to enlarge them soon ..

I’m down with that, particularly if that results in the redundant wording Lacoste not appearing on it as well.

And yeah Lacoste quality is great . There have been some pieces over the years that have been down right awful…. Prematurely fading .. seams opening and my biggest complaint with their polos is snagging . I hate that . Sometimes I feel like if someone hugged me too hard I’d get a snag on my shirts ..
also back in the day ( think Roddick years ) Lacoste sport polo tennis shirts
Material used was 100% polyester like normal but back then they used the thickest damn polyester that you could ever imagine . And it was hot as hell too .. but I still loved it and I still have some pieces left from that era in my current rotation of work clothes .
I only wear Lacoste . 100% of the time .
Sans the shoes.
I wear Nike , ASICS , or sometimes my racket sponsor gets me a shoe contract for the year ..
But I haven’t had one of those shoe deals on a while

Big Lacoste fan (all my life) and Nole fan since 2011. To me, Nole is doing Lacoste great justice. He is taking the brand to the highest places possible in the history of tennis. I always loved the fact that Rene himself is a 7 GS titles winner. Nole is a worthy successor of Rene Lacoste's legacy.

Someone can help me find the matching shorts for this shirt? I think is called neottia blue and hopefully this forum can help me, if not I think I will have to pass on this shirt. Thanks

That is the name of the color, but if I remember correctly they did not sell shorts in that color. The style to check would be the taffeta shorts, but i'm not seeing anything from a google short.

Would still look good with black or navy shorts I think.

Actually I just found some on the bay. Maybe not the exact style you're looking for though.

I think recent events in Tokyo have somewhat dented his legacy, not to mention the rings themselves...

I think this is actually meant to be a discussion about Lacoste - with a lesser subtext regarding their legacy - whose carefully manicured brand image has just taken yet another massive hit, not that Nogold's supporters, some of whom apparently buy Lacoste because of his transient, financially driven association with the brand, appear to be the type of individuals who care about decency and public image. Therefore I'll recuse myself, save the thread from inevitable censorship and leave the goat bickering for a more relevant/vitriolic place. Ciao!
