The meaning of your dream

Legend
I woke up from a nap and I remember I had a dream of holding two kittens, one in my left hand and the other one in my right hand. I could feel them moving around in my hands.

The meaning of this dream:

Playful kitten dream symbolizes curiosity and exploration in your life. This cat in a dream can represent your inner child, eager to learn, grow, and play. The dream may signify a time in your life filled with new possibilities and adventures.

The cat may embody your playful nature, reminding you to embrace the fun and joy life has to offer. This dream represents your desires to explore and learn.

A dream of a cat can also hint at your untamed spirit, yearning for freedom and spontaneity.

In essence, a playful kitten in a dream can mean you’re embarking on a journey of discovery, growth, and joy. So, enjoy every moment of it!

they may have felt like kittens but they probably weren’t kittens.
I saw it clearly, one is grey the other one is white. In that dream the people around me told me not to keep the kittens in the house.

My family had so many cats during my childhood, they're mostly stray cats who adopted my house as their new home.

Last night I had a new dream: I built a very tall skyscraper until it's completed.

Dreams of building a skyscraper

If you are building a skyscraper in a dream, it means that you will find a forever home.

There is a chance that you will decide to live alone, with a roommate, or with your loved one in the following period.

You will have many plans and creative ideas on how to decorate the living space that has a deep meaning for you.

(This interpretation is a little bit funny, because I'm already settled in my own forever home for like two decades... Maybe I will get a new forever home?)

I had a dream that I was making millions making crystal meth in a house I bought in Italy for 1 Lira.

Then suddenly the bell rang and my neighbours Walter and Jesse dropped in with some Coke.

I told them this was my dream job as i offered them some chocolate and port and wished them a long life.

Jesse complained someone stole a package off his porch.

Lol and Skylaar complaining that Walter bought a Chrysler for himself and not for her so she divorced him and left him to start a new life in a remote town of Africa and work as a libertarian fisherwoman.

The other day I dreamt that I can fly freely everywhere and I have full control of how to slow down and how to accelerate. It's an amazing feeling!

Dreaming about flying symbolises… Freedom and independence: Flying in a dream often represents a sense of liberation, breaking free from limitations, and experiencing a newfound sense of independence.

It's amazing that I often dream in my sleep!

If you don't have dream in your sleep it may not be good for you.

Some people recall their dreams clearly. Others feel like they never dream at all. That said, not dreaming usually has to do with underlying sleep disorders, health conditions, or various medication effects.

Not having dreams can signal that something is up and that the quality of your sleep isn't what it should be. For example, Dr. Tal says not having dreams can be a sign of an underlying sleep disorder, particularly sleep apnea.

I’ve had a few dreams with animals too, and they always seem to carry deeper emotions or ideas. For example, I once dreamt of holding puppies, and it made me feel like I was craving some sort of comfort or playfulness in my life. Your dream with the kittens definitely seems like a positive sign of curiosity and new adventures.

I recently found a dream app that helped me understand my dreams better. It gave me insights into how certain symbols, like animals, can represent parts of my personality or life. It’s been really helpful in making sense of things, and it’s a great tool if you’re curious about exploring your dreams more deeply.

Yeah I love new adventures. I'll be going to a new country that I've never visited before. I've been learning two handed backhand and a full loop forehand for about 3 months now and it's going really well.

I dreamed of being filthy rich. Meaning, no money?

I dreamed of being dirt poor. Meaning, no money?

I dreamed of being middle class. Meaning, no money?

Anything that has to do with money means you have no money?

Lol come to think of it, I never have any dream about money.

I normally forget what I dreamed of the night before.
I should buy a dream recorder. I should remember to search for that in Amazon. But it's most likely I forget about that, too.

Maybe hold a notebook and pen while you sleep, you might dream of writing down what you dream. Or, write your dream on the notebook once you wake up.

Ginkgo Biloba supplement and yellow turmeric (Curcumin) can improve your memory.

I had a dream about cats again. This time a mother cat with its kitten. I called them, and they both answered my call and came to me to have a snuggle on my lap. The kitten was then curled up in my hands. Both of them are white, with dark orange/brown stripes. What a lovely dream!

.....have inadequacy fears, fellas
I’m curious what forms the foundational basis for dream interpretations, and how clinicians and therapists derive their interpretations. My understanding is the theory, originating with Freud, posits that the guards to the unconscious takes a coffee break during the dream state, allowing suppressed drives, feelings, and memories to surface and manifest in the form of fractured dream narratives and images.

My question is why would there be an assumption that there can be an interpretation that is universal instead of unique to the individual. How can there be a standard interpretation of building a skyscraper in a dream?

Are these standard dream interpretations derived from, or analogous to, the Jungian concept of a universal mind? Do psychoanalysts put much stock in dream interpretations today?

That being said, I have some repeating dream scenarios that I share with friends and family members. Some themes: being back in school and handed the final exam, but had forgotten I had the class all semester and never attended lectures; forgetting my locker combination and really needing something in high school; being on a plane that is taking off, can’t gain altitude, and is dodging buildings, trees or mountains; I’m lost in an unfamiliar city and the roads or train maps baffle me--I can’t find my way; I’m playing a practice set with a top pro player, hitting groundstrokes great, but disoriented by my ball toss and keep whiffing or shanking on my serve.

I had a dream that I've never had before.

I was an astronaut in a space ship. There was a component outside of the spaceship, some kind of battery that needs to be replaced. The only way to replace it is for me to get out of the spaceship, so I was floating out of the spaceship and replaced the battery like device. I only had 2 minutes, otherwise the spaceship would malfunction. So I did everything quickly, but then my assistant wanted a selfie in the space, so I took a quick selfie of us while replacing the device, with the background of the planet Earth.

Then not long after we landed on earth and people were rushing to take picture of us lol.

I actually enjoyed reading this and glad the dream ended well for you.
