Once again, thanks for thinking of meeting up before your business visit, @jaggy . It was an honor and a blessing to share some face time with a compadre. I'm sad we didn't have a bit more time to say "Ciao!" properly last night but our chance encounter on the sidewalk interrupted by the customer couple started my night right and it went on quite well, which I needed after the bleeding rain you brought with you!

BTW, the chap who got on for the ride then was from Nottingham! Small world, aye? You meet people from everywhere down here on The Drive!

Was jaggy one of the heavier people who has gotten on your rickshaw? If the heaviness scale of your customers is 1 - 10, what is jaggy's score?

Since I'm a bit disappoint. Promise to take humongous counterweight to a wet t-shirt contest at the nearest tavern whenever he shows up.:D
I'll be tarred and feathered by the surgically enhanced adult entertainment specialists if I oblige your humble request, dear Sir. I might do it though; it could be fun to have a crew of them working me over!

I have a great voice but no ear to match it. As a result, unless I carefully choose singers with limited range its fingernails on a chalkboard time!

My favorite choice is usually Seger's "Turn The Page." It often works fine until his crescendo at the tail end of the song..."Thereeee I go!"

Not a bad choice, haha. I can do Piano man fairly well, and rocket man too. :D

I imagine Disney World and Universal Studios are fairly popular tourist destinations, no? ;)

I've only ever been once back in 2004, but it was a great trip. We did Universal, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. Still have a cool picture of our whole family in front of Spaceship Earth, oh man the memories.

I used to drive down to Orlando quite often for these in 1994-5. Saw these places.
Hearing of Epcot (was it Epcot Center) for the first time in 23 years !!!

I also once drove down to Tampa (Busch Gardens) I think it was.

Must catch this.

Grumpiest Old Men will be Stringey and me in our 90's when I finally make it to the US, (Shawshank Redemption style) and spend the last few years of me life on some nice beach catching the sun and waves.
OK, Red! That sounds like a lifestyle for a good ************* member like yourself!

Is Jaggy's wife happy with all these, you guys meeting every day and enjoying time together and taking romantic photos cheek to cheek? (not meant in a Sureshian way)

Excuse me but get you're mind out of the sewer(esh). Just because 2 guys who post a lot on a tennis site and happen to be at the same place at the same time and meet does not mean they rented a room in a back alley in a seedy part of town, hired 2 albino dwarves, dressed them in leather and bound them to a chair forcing them to watch west coast forehand approach shots while eating a feast of syrupy gulab jamam. Seriously, the imaginations on some of you. This site needs better moderation.

What is gulab jamam? Do I even want to know?

You have a dirty mind, don't you?
You should rather focus on 'watch west coast forehand approach shots' which IMHO should be done only by adults.

Benoit Balls!

Seriously though, is that like crushed pistachios on top? And what exactly are those balls?

The most delicious thing in the world. Hot and overly sweet !
Can be had with icecream or even yoghurt on the side.

At office parties at Suresh's office, someone usually brings a dozen or two, and our dear chap helps himself to quite a few as per his own admission.

I usually have to take a cab to a place across town which makes them really really well. Nothing but the best for poor ole Senti (when it comes to sweets).

I've seen a bit of Seinfeld long ago. Big Poobowski is a movie not a series.

Never herd of the udder two, will cheque them out.

okay, Archer and FG are animated ! You like animated shows, do ya ?!!

Still a great movie, probably one of my top 3 favorite comedies of all time. So many references can be made from that movie, and you can watch it like 50 - 100 times and still not get tired of it, at least I can.

Well I pretty much grew up on animated shows: Back in the mid to late 90's it was Nickelodeon like every weekend man!

Rocket Power, Hey Arnold, Angry Beavers, Aaah! Real Monsters, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, SpongeBob, Rugrats, Doug, Fairly Odd Parents, CatDog, Wild Thornberry's. And then on Cartoon Network it was Dexter's Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Power Puff Girls, etc. Not to mention all the live shows too!

I'm done for now. The rest of youse guys need to get busy and hook up. Didn't @Big_Dangerous go to Oz and meet several forum members in '16??? That sounded like quite a treat! I would love to hear more details! Any photos???

I only met @oble and we had a hit in Perth, which was fun. I wasn't sure where @Rafaisdabest and her Beau live, and then I think @Firstservingman is in Canberra, which I didn't visit. I was in Sydney and Melbourne for about 4-5 days each, and then in Perth for about 6 days.

Still a great trip though!

Got to pet a Kuala, and Kangaroos, saw The Great Ocean Road, Sydney Opera House and Tower, saw Djokovic play Seppi on MCA on my birthday, too bad I didn't have tickets to Federer vs Dimitrov on RLA though.

Any photos to share from you or @Big_Dangerous ???

Perth must be absolutely a gorgeous place to live. One young lady I was friends with in Long Island globetrotted and met a fellow from there and moved back with him to settle down. I was so jealous of her luck when her mom told me. I had always wanted to visit Oz since my years in Earl's Court, London with mates from your other coast.

Damn, I should have taken some that night. I did find some tennis courts on Rottnest Island though, so I just served a little bit and then there was a wall I hit against, but only for about 15 minutes or so. It wasn't a very good wall, and the balls kept going over the fence because it was pretty low too. :(

Been to Australia before for a few months to work there in a project. Melbourne seems to be the best mix of everything. Sydney is too big and too expensive. Brisbane is good if you don't have to work and like diving, surfing etc. I was told that Perth was great and cheap if you're after a quite life. What impressed me the most about Australia is people's enthusiasm just about anything, especially sports and that they look very happy. Not the best place though if you worship Amazon culture.
