True. He is not hated by regular tennis spectators. Most of them will root rather for Fed but that isn't hate. The more Djokovic wins ,the more he is hated by Federer fanatics .
Decent fed fans respect Djokovic .
True. He is not hated by regular tennis spectators. Most of them will root rather for Fed but that isn't hate.
Unfortunately if you have fed fanatic writing a column in some magazine, you get all kind of stupid headlines and narratives. They want to create public opinion.Ya . Hate is too strong an emotion to be used so casually .
I hate terrorists .
What does sum fed fanatics want to convey here ?
that was pretty much on display this SundayI doubt that this is true that the more Djokovic wins the more he is hated, but insofar as it is, the more he's hated, the more he wins.
Becker loves him too. How about that becker like dive bomb stretch volley! Becker still lives on in those hallowed grounds. Love it.I think the resentment has reached it's peak. They can't hate no more. In the end comes the realisation that he is a GOAT, and then comes acceptance. Once that happens, he will be lauded by tennis fans, who can afford to attend slam finals.
It comes full circle in the end.
Lol @ Nadal, he makes excuses everytime he loses in minor tournaments, can never give lesser opponents any credit when they beat him and even has the gall to run into opponents at the change of ends at SW19 of all places circa 2012.I've never liked Djokovic (on court), but this is actually the first tournament that I through Djokovic did everything right -- behavior wise. I haven't liked Federer on-court since 2009. The incident with Roddick and the jacket... I thought that was the absolute lowest in class. The ultimate in showing up your opponent after defeat. Even worse than Djokovic ripping off his shirt (which is also horrible). And then when Federer didn't own his abhorrent behavior afterwards... the ultimate in cowardice... sorry. Federer gets no love from me after that.
For me, the highest class, respectable champions have been Del Potro, Murray, Cilic, Wawrinka, and Nadal.
He should of done the finger wave......just to dig it in......for old times sake.Nole war cry can be LOLOLOLOLOLOL in reference to Fed failing to convert his 2 CP in the Wimby final - my god what a turn of events that was. Fed fans - eat a dick.
I think he's reserving that for when he gets a clean straight-sets win over the ageing flute player. He should of done the finger wave......just to dig it in......for old times sake.
The ageing flute player is done. He will NEVER recover from this.I think he's reserving that for when he gets a clean straight-sets win over the ageing flute player.
It's almost like Djokovic wasn't so butthurt over that finger wave to hold a grudge for 8 years. He should of done the finger wave......just to dig it in......for old times sake.
There is no hate but there is a lot of dislike regarding Djokovic.Definitely not a popular champion.
The more Djokovic wins ,the more he is hated by Federer fanatics .
More projecting. I know many Fed fans (colleagues or neighbors) who aren't on TTW and do not hate Djokovic at all. For whatever reason, many in the Novak fan base endlessly claim this with no proof. Where are the supposed Fed fanatics here posting diatribes about Novak? I never see any. I can't imagine being so pathetic in your own life as to "hate" someone because they beat your favorite in a tennis final.
Stop kidding yourself. Win or lose, haters gonna hate.
I really don’t get it. Some of your nolefams are claiming he’s gaining universal love after the win, the media is jumping on the bandwagon, Fed is the sinking ship and on and on it goes; others, also nolefams are saying he’s hated more and more. Can you make up your mind?
Good for him if he’s gaining more fans as he wins more. But be very careful no one is young and will win forever. I for one am proud to say my love for Roger isn’t based on him winning everything. I got to know him after he passed his peak and only started following him when people claimed he was done and dusted lol
You realize it's a two-way street, right? When Nadal and Djokovic fans troll Fed and his fans, it's in response to previous trolling from Fed fans. If Fed fans were always respectful towards Djokodal, do you still think the threads you were so critical of would have surfaced following the final?By the looks of it (considering the threads made after the match) Djokovic and Nadal extreme fans are looking to instigate and want to picture themselves as victims and cornered. Victim complex and cocky at the same time. Love it.
Of course there is no victim complex among Fed fans; that would be too much. The media, the spectators, and the tennis establishment at large are already fellating Federer at every opportunity. There is a "slight"difference, even if you are so tempted to use the parallel: the broad Federer fanbase never made a point of being victimised because of their favourite player. Some of them have been using the usual shtick typical in such scenarios that "they did it before", but that is a fanbase to fanbase reaction. There is no victim complex the way the most vocal amongst the Djokovic fans here display. You can see it: demanding respect from the media, the spectators, dividing to "easterners" and "westerners", claiming Orthodox brotherhoods, raging about "rubbing it in" by being tribal and rude etc etc. The circus.
