Isner has to be the most boring to watch. Looks like a genuinely great guy but wow, his game puts you to sleep. Nothing but a serve and an occasional forehand.
well played post...I just thought of another one I find boring and that is Verdasco. To watch him play Raonic, for me it was not a real tennis match. Just rallies, no serves. It even made Raonic leave in disgust. I'd like to see Raonic play Verdasco on a real grass court with serves.
Interesting. I judge a player's entertainment value by how he plays the game, not by what his ranking is. In fact, to me, his ranking is irrelevant. There are exciting players throughout the rankings, just like there are some boring players throughput the rankings, including near the top.I find most of the players consistently outside of the top 50, boring to watch.
What does preferring to watch paint dry instead of Nadal play on clay have anything to do with Federer?because they're fed fans going through an end of rooting life experience

Nadal obvs, its way too defensive and always the same formula for winning points.
Current players only the most boring are
Murray - I only watch Murray matches when he is playing either Fed or Nadal
Soderling - So one dimensional. he hits the ball so late and with that ugly forehand
Isner - I enjoy watching serve-fests but this guy has no personality or motivation at all
Hewitt - I switch the channel when he plays
Cilic - A guy his size should not be pushing so much
You mean that all along Federer was hiding behind that thing?
Haha!
Yes, ksbh, you are a Sham-****. And he is the reason I stopped watching tennis in the 90's -- well I can't remember who exactly it was, perhaps some East European player ... one day i am gonna have to go back in time and pin down the culprit. Anyway, you get back to fawning over Sunny Deolight and Pete Sham pras, let me not hold you up.
Hesse! Thats a name you seldom see any more. I was the model for the 1971 Bantam Siddhartha book covers.
With those AO finals it was a huge difference of watching them live or on replay. When watching live I wanted them to be close and as long as possible, just for the tension and maybe new records for match length.Weirdly I watched all the AO djorray finals. Hate watching really. Strangely enjoyable but needed to watch the good tennis after so put on Graf Seles RG 92 and Federer Delpo uso 09 to cleanse the tennis chakras.
I feel the same way about every match I’m neutral onWith those AO finals it was a huge difference of watching them live or on replay. When watching live I wanted them to be close and as long as possible, just for the tension and maybe new records for match length.
But rewatching it with knowing the result is a boring as it gets.
