Its a real NCYGS
Not for a single player, but for slam finals.
This AO19 final result generated a NCYGS of 4 boring, one sided slam finals in a row.....
Last 4 slam finals
RG 18 :- Nadal Def. Thiem 6-4 6-3 6-2
Wim 18 :- Djok Def. Anderson 6-2 6-2 7-6
Uso 18 :- Djok Def. DelPotro 6-3 7-6 6-3
Ao 19 :- Djok Def. Nadal 6-3 6-2 6-3

The last interesting slam final was a year ago,
AO 18 :- Fed Def. Cilic 6-2 6-7 6-3 3-6 6-1

I was so hopeful for a clash of the titans at AO 2019. For 2 years in a row, Australia was the only remotely interesting slam. 5 set finals both years while every other slam was decided in straights.

But it seems no where is safe anymore.

I think if Novak wins it will be in 4. Something like he wins 1st set then Nadal takes 2nd and then Novak finishes it. He doesn't want to risk.

Old players winning everything is actually not good for tennis, because when they'll give up suddenly, young gen won't be powerful to fill up the void..

Delpo can't manage to win a slam anymore.
Stan can, if he's in good shape and zoning..

And lol at novak taking out rafa at RG final, nadal is completely a different beast at BO5 clay...
Plus, djok doesn't hit that heavy, which hurts him against nadal on RG...
