For the last two years some of tt member have been on fire with their predictions. The most memorable and improbable so far seem to be those three*:

Yes. You heard it here. This kid has grown in leaps and bounds and looks primed to take on the Big Guns. He has already felled Djokovic (Paris 2012) and Federer (in doubles) in the past. He is becoming better and better with each passing day. Just saw his effortless beatdown of del Potro in Delray Beach. IMPRESSIVE. Unbridled offense which is very difficult to hang with. A matchup between Novak and Sam is going to be fascinating. Something tells me that Querrey has the belief and the game to stop Novak.

Interesting that nobody is considering the idea that Federer might go to UNIQLO? What if UNIQLO might offer $40 million compared to $20 million from Nike? Roger owns his RF brand, so that is transferable. Roger doesn't 'owe' lifetime loyalty to Nike if they give him an insulting #.

Simply awesome player. Plays a Patient style of tennis. Remarkably fit and carries a nonchalant attitude even in adverse situations. Strikes the ball cleaner than Current Djokovic and has no fix pattern of play. Overshadows Djokovic when it comes to first serve consistency and has the mental strength Djokovic desires of, clearly visible in his recent hirings of men.

Still Footwork could be the key when Cecchinato stops Djokovic in his tracks at Suzanne Lenglen. Djokovic has acquired this new style of Jamming at the last moment instead of transferring the weight into his shots. This particular artistry has earned him 3 Ist Round losses in the space of 40 days and Palermo Born Marco Cecchinato isn't concerned with that. Still Djokovic could clarify that he does that during crunch moments only.

Let the wait for Roland Garros commence now.

All the above were pretty great calls, for my money the below is the most prophetic post I’ve seen in TT:

Call me dramatic (because I am) but Djokovic would be better off not winning RG until it's the last Slam he wins (which would also be poetic).


I have a feeling that winning RG could be what does burst his bubble.

But the guy was totally wrong, he didn't predict that the match would be on faster AO courts. So, not impressive at all. If he predicted that the final would also be on faster courts, then I would be impressed.
