The next legend? Felix Auger-Aliassime's road to the title in Lyon.

yea, I see the same. definitely a little Nadal going on with this guy's game.

those who see Monfils or Tsonga, really bewilder me...

Maybe you see Nadal as silky smooth and contained as he unleashes another 90% defensive sizzling 1.5 metre net clearing groundies
or Nadals pre USO title high kicking first and second serves. There is no other Nadal, there are wannabees but all slight shades.
This kid also mentioned in an interview at one event he admired Tsonga and Monfils and no mention of the stomping Bull.
Nadal dancing feet LOL just small adjustment steps, hope he is the next big thing he is amazing for 16 hopefully not just another Willy Tsonga.

Felix Auger sounds like a very good name for marketing, should he be a multi slam champion. Auger-Aliassime is harder for people to remember, if you want to sell them things like oh I dunno, Rxxxx, Lxxxs Vxxxxxn, Mxxxxxs-B, that kind of thing.

Felix Ali sounds better.

Im sure he wont just be another Tsonga but at 6 feet 3 atm, his height might be a handicap if he gets a few or more inches taller
Delpo apart from his wrists put on almost 20kg in mass he cant shake off since winning the USO

This aged very bad

Eh, and yet he is still only 24. Will he make good on his promise? Only time will tell.

But I remember when people were talking about his terrible performances in finals. He fixed that. No one can doubt his drive.

True, I personally don't think he is natural talent like many others, but without question, he has to be one of the hardest working players out there. I also think he might be a little too nice for this sport. Way too much of a gentleman, which means he really does lack a legit killer instinct.

I do think going with Toni has damaged him way too much and I see he has been passed quite significantly by younger players who are showing the ATG talent, with even more coming up behind them that could be potential threats. He is 24, yes, but at what should be the peak of his career, he is only making steps in 250 events. In between his two titles he won this year, which he played well for, he lost in the 2nd round after being two sets up, in the actual event that historically matters.

The problem with FUA is his backhand and his physique he is very injury prone his consistency is way worse and his mental game in the downs i doubt he could be a legend maybe win 1 slam as maximun

He isn’t very mentally strong, he cannot play under pressure, his ball striking is not really that good and he can’t take the ball earlier or stand close to the baseline, he doesn’t really have that great of a defense game, his return is not that good, and to cap it all off even though he’s tall, his service isn’t that good.
