The Nike RF Line Once Federer retires?

I think its obvious to anybody who plays tennis and is into there gear that the Nike RF line is busting with attention to detail, from the laser engraved RF logo to the Taped No Sew seems and the tasteful styling (for the most part) which pretty much make for a superior product line in this industry as these are all concepts that have never been done before to my knowledge and it seems that the Nike brand would still benefit from the RF brand and concept long into his impending retirement

So here is the big question...What do you guys think will happen to the NIKE RF line once The GOAT AKA Roger Federer retires?

Those laser engraved RF logos are often now little more than stickers which eventually start to come off depending how you are for the shirts.

Nike will continue the RF brand for sure with some limited lines for sure. It's a no-brainer. If Agassi and McEnroe aligned stuff still sells then Federer stuff will have plenty of demand.

It's all about $$$.
If any company who are willing to pay more to Fed, Fed will end up with that company. Honestly, I don't see any company who are willing to pay more than Nike but who knows.

I think Nike and Fed will hire a brand manager for Fed's own nike line like Jordan brand.

I agree with @Bobby Jr - Fed will not totally disappear from the tennis world - Nike can give him a 'brand ambassador' title and have him show up from time to time, and Nike will thus try to maintain the RF line as they did Air Jordan. May work, may not. Will depend on the styling and pricing. His popularity, unless he pulls a Tiger Woods on Thanksgiving Night (highly unlikely), is not going to fade away any time soon.

I don't see it will happen.
If fed stay with Nike, Fed does not need to put any money. He will just collect money from Nike. Why fed wants to put his own money to create new company?
There will be too much money and effort to create his own company.
Probably he needs new logo since RF logo is belong to Nike.

Also I don't see any other company will offer better contract than Nike.

The RF line doesn't have the cache that Jordan did. It took 13 years for Nike to spin off Jordan into its own separate business. I think you might see a collection inspired by Federer for select Nike athletes to wear but I don't think the RF line will be its own entity.

Just look at Michael Jordan's line after he retired. Rogers legacy will always be there. He will always hold his 17 slams and most weeks at number one. As long as people recognize that then his brand has the ability to live on. Lesser known and lesser famous than Jordan's line is Adidas Stan smith or ilie Nastase or Andre Agassi air tech challenge. For racquets the pure drive roddick is still named after roddick even though he retired.

Of course Nike will continue to sell the RF line since they'll do whatever is possible for them to earn money.
