Close up outsole wear at 20-30 hours. Alongside a brand new pair as well:

Durability on the outsole a major surprise - love the look of these grey ones, especially the speckled midsole in the forefoot

What in the world? Mine wore out within 2 weeks. And I was a fan initially while trying in store but on court they’re kind of disappointing. Can’t really roll/slide your toe/feet with the shoe bc the outsole edge gets caught….i guess I can see how they’re decent for a rec player

Very surprising indeed! Literally just the edges!

That last picture was just an excuse to show off the racquet stash though... :p

Yup, literally just the edges. was hitting with a buddy of mine who I played juniors with / played d1 last week. I convinced him to get a pair, He loves them, says they’re more durable than the vapor 11 he was using. He has really aggressive modern footwork too, think this one should work for a variety of players. I’m more of an old school player tactically & don’t do much sliding so I’m not hard on shoes. Even when playing college tennis I was easier on shoes then my teammates, but I think these should hold up nicely if you deploy modern footwork (IE slide into short balls closed stance or wide balls open stance)

I'm intrigued to get a pair of these. They look good and the outsole actually looks like it would work well on clay.

They work well on clay but overhyped for hard court. If you have decent foot work, you’ll tear through the tread and sides of the shoe in 2 weeks
(Coming from an out of shape 40yo who’s a punching bag for WTA players maybe 3 times a week)

The deep herringbone would definitely be a good fit on clay. The middle of the shoe might soak up a bit more clay then wanted, but in general they should work nicely given the consistent herringbone from heel to toe

Does anyone know if there is a regional difference with the Sabrina 2’s outsoles?

Found four boxes of Sab 2s at a local Nike outlet store here that look like they were Nike “By You” / Nike ID custom returns. Just a monochrome black colour way with black outsoles and XDR tags.

These ones were in the Nike By You style slider boxes but it was Nike China / Asia codes on the box. Not reading much into the box as the outlets often just use generic replacement boxes for the shoes so these might not have been the original boxes.

Here in Australia we get a lot of the takedown releases that are in the China market and it’s not unheard of for us to get Asian stock supplied regionally.

I think the outsole rubber compounds should be the same across all regions, only differing by colorway. Man, that sounds like a sick haul. I’d snag all four if they were in my size

It might be just a cosmetic thing, but the Sabrina 2s kind of remind me of some of the mid-series Kobe releases with an (understandably) less premium upper.

I have been using these shoes for all of December. Previously been swapping between Vapor X, Vapor Pro, GP Challenge 1, Vapor 11 and Vapor Pro 2 and I have to say the Sabrinas probably made me run the fastest and feels very nimble.
My only criticsm is that they aren't as breathable (I live in Western Australia which gets very dry and hot)
At the moment my preference is Sabrina > Vapor Pro 2 > GP Challenge 1 > Vapor 11 > Vapor Pro = Vapor X

Cheers mate. Glad to hear they are working for you. I also agree not the most breathable but that’s fine with me given the above avg performance in so many other areas

Like you, I’m a big vapor pro 1/ vapor X guy. I still have a bunch of those in the rotation, but the Sabrinas have been the first pull because they are so well rounded. They are so light but also super stable, possessing attributes very close to my favorite vapors of old

Totally agree, a combo of the Kobe 4 and Kobe 5 IMHO. Funny enough these uppers definitely feel more premium than those Kobes of old. Nice multi layered material construction where those old Kobes were one-piece synthetics
