Oh he gets a pass as he was playing the big 3, don't you know? Was never expected to actually beat them! ATG by proxy!
I thought Nadal was very, very, very tired in 2008 USO? Muzza might have done him a favor actually.

I think you missed out on at least a dozen other "verys" otherwise you're in grave danger of disrespecting him and implying Murray might actually have had something to do with his loss.
Didn't know hurricanes only hit Djokovic and avoid Andy.I would say Wimbledon 2013, as it was mostly the hurricane and the schedule that cost Djokovic the USO 2012.
Murray was just so good it made him look bad, like Djoker did to Med, right?Aren't those basically Djokovic's worst performances in a slam final?

Murray defeated Djokovic in a Slam final twice, something neither Berdych nor Tsonga ever achieved. In fact, Berdych never played a Slam final against Djokovic.Murray was never threat to Big 3 in slams. His success in slams against big 3 is no more than someone like Tsonga/Berdych. Few wins here and there but he lost evety time when Big 3 showed decent form.
Maybe peak Roger > Nole.Matches Needed to get 3 wins over GOAT contending Rival:
Medvedev: 7
Roddick: 24
Roddick=Good rival to Federer
Medvedev=Weak rival to Nole
Roddick was younger than Fed... whats the age difference in Djoker and Med? yikesMatches Needed to get 3 wins over GOAT contending Rival:

Nadal was a bit gassed against Murray, but Federer was stellar in the USO SF and F, he was hitting the forehand at 2005/2006 levels almost. Actually, it would have been better for Federer to face Nadal than Murray, might have gotten rid of the mental block after the Wimbledon final and would have helped him for Australia had they faced there again.

Those excuses... I see your point, but Djokovic couldn't beat Murray in the USO12 final, because he wasn't good enough.Factors that alter the natural course of a match favor the lesser player, in tennis and every other sport.
ah of course, age. Nole is so old he can only win Wimbledon, the Australian Open, break the all time #1 record...so not very good at all really. Medvedev should be ashamed for racking up wins against such a codger.Roddick was younger than Fed... whats the age difference in Djoker and Med? yikes
Maybe Medvedev>RoddickMaybe peak Roger > Nole.
Yes, maybe. I think Roddick is, as far as we know, the clearly better player. But that could change if Medvedev wins a slam, which he clearly is capable of.Maybe Medvedev>Roddick
Must not be that great then. When Fed racked all those same things he wasnt losing to Roddick. Maybe he was just better than Djoker is today.ah of course, age. Federer achieved those records against Roddick, Hewitt, Safin, Baghdatis, Gonzalez, Srichaphan, Starace, Volandri, Pavarotti, Udomchoke, etc. whereas Nole surpassed them playing against Fed, Rafa, Murray, Wawrinka, Thiem...so I think Nole is actually the better oneMust not be that great then. Yeah well... Fed has 3 Laver cups.Federer achieved those records against Roddick, Hewitt, Safin, Baghdatis, Gonzalez, Srichaphan, Starace, Volandri, Pavarotti, Udomchoke, etc. whereas Nole surpassed them playing against Fed, Rafa, Murray, Wawrinka, Thiem...so I think Nole is actually the better one
The number of times Millman has stopped the big 3 from winning a slam.
Nadal -0
Fed- 1
Djoco - 0

No matter how 'gassed' Rafa might have been, it was NEVER better for Federer to meet him at a slam over Murray...especially in the year that Nadal humiliated Roger at RG and ended his 5-consecutive Wimbledon streak.

It would have been HARDER, but it would have been better because a win over Nadal at a slam and at a final would have done wonders for his confidence against him at the time, just like closing out the Roma match in 2006 would have as well.
he only lost to Millman because Djoker was waiting in the next roundThe number of times Millman has stopped the big 3 from winning a slam.

Just like when Robredo and Del Po "out played" him prior to a meeting with Rafahe only lost to Millman because Djoker was waiting in the next round
