SO???????

It's not a crime to comeback from retirement. These girls are still young and they have plenty of good tennis ahead of him. Thank god you are not the ATP chief executive or the Chairman.:twisted:
Its the worst of the crimes in the labour world.Nobody owning a big or small enterprise will readmit RETIRED personell...Retirement is a LEGAL status, its no joke, its not holidays,is not anything...If you are Retired you are ended ''terminated'' as in the Schwarzeneggers film and you recieve your monthly income from the Social Security in your country...
I will tell you that only a mad institution as the WTA,legally ill advised can authorize such ILEGAL action...and I am talking about LAWS that also tennis players and institutions have to obey...
Also as I said in another thread I hope they will not end playing the tournament of the jail...
The only way (LEGAL) they could reappear in the courts is perhaps as coaches of competing players...Kim Clijsters coaching Caroline Wozniacki and Justine Henin coaching Yanina Wickmayer could prove to be winning combinations...

Go Marpiw...go, go, go..... Let's all wish the women's #345 player in the world a great showing at the AW!!!!!!!!!!

If that doesn't happen marpiw, what do we do then? Shall we just cancel the tournament because the RETIRED players have resurfaced, and/or the top seeds are winning? I'm really curious?
To make it short I'm rewlling you that RETIREMENT is a LEGAL STATUS...its no joke,no holidays,no nothing...You have decided not to work anymore and you have called your labour lawyer who will do the neccesary paperwork to ensure that your RETIREMENT will take place and that your name is included in the Social Security payroll and that you will recieve your monthly income as a RETIRED person...that income you can justify as a RETIRED person...but officials in the Social Security are not stupid and continouously investigate all the financial whereabouts of the people included in their payrolls...and they have all the information they want from banks and credit cards...if something strange appears (the appearance of huge amounts of money in your account) they will start asking questions...and you know the ending to this novel...
The only way I see they could reappear in the courts is perhaps as coaches of the competing players...
I would be very happy to see the girl seeded 50.000 lifting the Australian Open Cup and girl seeded 75.000 lifting the Roland Garros Cup and the girl seeded 100.000 lifting the Wimbledon Trophy and my neighbors baby lifting the US Open Cup...Can you imagine what a show!!!!!

BTW, marpiw, how did you enjoy day one of the AO? You had one lower ranked player pull a big upset, but then the rest was fairly predictable.

What's illegal here is to be retired at age 30. There are people out there working their ass off for 40 years just to have the right to retire, and these tennis players stop working before being 30! This is not fair! I say we should force them on the courts till they're 60 at least like everybody else!

Marpiw, maybe you can show us how it is done? Perhaps you could retire from the board?!?
Why should I?.This board is quite entertaining and I have the possibility of watching how blindfolded people think...quite interesting...

I know that I'm talking all right and I repeat to you that Retirement is a LEGAL STATUS and the WTA is insane in allowing these girls to come back...

Maripiw, why aren't you expending your energies on Fabrice Santoro as well? Santoro retired last year, had a huge ceremony...then decided to come back for the AO, just to get a record for most slams played, taking away a spot from another player. Why aren't you speaking out on him?

This marpiw poster must be an intentional troll. Nobody can possibly be that stupid on their own, or can they?

I asked her the same thing...as well, she doesn't seem to mind Kimiko Date Krumm having come back either.

Interesting, hunh? I wonder why these two players seem to have escaped the Wrath of Marpiw.

Am I the only one who feels that out of the top 4 seeds,Wozzy has the easiest draw and Kuzy has the hardest draw?

Wozzy's biggest threats - Peer,Li Na,A Radwanska,Venus.
Kuzy's biggest threats - Clijsters,Dementieva/Henin,Petrova,Wickmayer/Pennetta.

Poor Kuzy. Wozzy should be able to make it to the 4th round at least granted no upsets happen.

And who does Serena have to face til the semi's? I would say Serena has the easiest draw... and the bottom half is loaded with potential upsets. Second round match... Henin vs Dementieva...? Bad luck with the draw... it is too bad Henin didn't get drawn into the top half at least it would have helped balance the draw.

You didn’t include Serena as having one of the SOFT draw in her half.

And since you put Kuz having the toughest draw, then might as well include Kim, Henin, and Elena too since they are all grouped in one quarter!

You keep this up you are going to get banned. This tennis board is for people who loves the game, and not bashing tennis organization. Everyone in here are a fan of tennis, but base on the contents of all your posts, you are NOT a tennis fan. I suggest you find another hobby b/c you don’t fit in here with the crowd.

When you finally realized it later on, you will thank me for this advice.
