Can you compare tc90 to tc95? Where did they remove the 5square inches ? Are the main strings shorter on the tc90? Or the width of racket smaller? Sometimes manufacturers just make the throat area smaller and rest of head is same. Are the grommets same on tc90 n tc95? Tnx
I don't have the TC95, sorry!

Anyone know if tc90 and tc95 use same grommets? Is the 5 inches removed from bottom half of tc95 to make the tc90? Tnxx

Isn’t the tc90 16x18? If yes how can it share the grommets with the tc95?

The tc95 and tc97 do share the same grommets.
Tnx...grommets are different then ...didn't know tc90 was 16x18... then it might be that the tc90 and tc95 are same size from the middle to top of the hoop...if anyone can confirm. .tnxx

Maybe just get one of each and compare? Or ask Angell?

Cyan xl sold out. Hopefully a new version is out soon. Hope Paul hets some accurate SW figures this time. On the listing it is 297unstrung, where it is more like 310 unstrung. The two I tested were 340-342 strung! Even tennisnerd had a high end sw. This could be an awesome frame at 330sw strung.

Looking to replace my Clash V198. Thinking of replacing it with React 99 18x19. Thoughts? I can replicate the balance and weight of the Clash.

I normally play with a Ezone 98 but have a bad shoulder and it’s been acting up for a while. When this occurs I go back to the Clash and it helps.

You can expect something between ezone and clash in terms of power/control/Spin and comfort.

For me the React MPP 99 18x19 has been the goat racket so far. It does everything well but does nothing excepcional, the biggest point is that i haven't found any flaws in this racket. You can try different strings and tensions that can help your game style (for more or less power/control/Spin and/or comfort), in case you don't like your current string in this racket.

The picture shows the React mold used. If you look at “A” printed above the grip, you can see that it is a React. Very different construction in that place compared to “normal” TC series.

The new custom 99 is available on Angell site. If you start building a TC custom, it’s one of the options. I wonder I’m not sure how it will be than react
Nice spot!
Wasn't there yesterday when they published their first story, didn't even think to try again today.
Seems like it's only available (at the moment?) in the 64/63RA version and not the 71/70RA which is what i was personally hoping for...

It's weird that they've updated the area above the handle do reflect this, but not the "throat/bridge" area which is shown on the insta story and how i noticed it.

My guess is that it will be React mold but filled with foam. 310g/310mm version is not available - I was keen to try it.

I noticed you can choose a new white ice leather grip in the total costum configurator. What is so special about this one but the colour?

@Gee - Looking forward to the redirection of the rest of your year's worth of mortgage payments, directly to Angell Accounts Receivable, and your forthcoming review of the TC99, in all weightings and balances.

I was serious tempted to order one this morning!
Besides lately I was wondering what to do with my holiday pay. Maybe these Angells might be a good investment
By the way I also just sold my 2 Diadem Elevates today so I need to restock up my rackets! :-D

Or... must I still resist as I already have 2 pairs of the great Phantoms and Prestiges??
We'll see,...

I'm looking at these now. So it looks like it is the React frame, but with foam filling? That may help negate the need for lead in the hoop that I felt was needed for the React. Anyone reach out to Paul yet to ask him what the SW is?

But it's 294 SW if you go with 300 grams/ 325 mm balance spec, I assume. The SW could change if someone goes with a totally custom option or requests a balance point more headlight than 325mm.
Heavier specs from the custom configuration will not increase the swingweight drastically as the weight blocks are inserted into holes in the handle.

My assumption is that some of the higher static weight specs offer more headlight balance, thus theoretically could yield lower SW range? At least that's my understanding with previous correspondences with Paul. The TC range typically is between the 290-300 unstrung SW range, IIRC, and typically I try to request frames as close to 290 whenever possible.

I think ALL of the higher static weight specs are more headlight, since the weight adjustments are made by shifting weight inserts in the handle, as I understand it.

Surely they must add some weight in the head to achieve the desired weight / balance? Because if the lowest available static weight is 300g and the highest is 330g, adding 30g only in the handle would make the balance significantly more headlight than 12 points / 305mm, which is the most headlight balance. Am I missing something?

30gr on the handle on a 300gr/33cm racquet will get you to approximately 330gr/30.5cm.
Use this:

Yep, 300gr 6HL. Played with the tc95 again last week and there is just something about the foam filled rackets. It is an addictive feeling. But the 95 is just a bit too demanding for me and the tc100 launch angle doesn't work with my ohbh. I hope the tc95 will be the perfect mix.

So will the TC99 have better control and comfort over the React 99, both with the same 18x19 string pattern?

In the TC range (up to V4 I believe and that’s what I have), the heavier specs have 3 sections of weights in the hairpin, underneath the pallets. This is to allow for different static weight/balance requirements (ie. Custom build).
The SW range is most likely for the QC reasons, as these are more “mass produced” than those pro stocks. lol.

Edit - lol. Found these pix of the V3 TC95s from a few years ago. There are in fact 4 x weight slots in the handle and the top one near the throat will have impact on the SW.

I think with the foam it will be even more comfortable, not sure how control and power will translate. I alternate between the tc100 61ra, 67ra and k7 cyan cxl and all are super comfortable, the react 99 18x19 is also amazing and comfortable. The foam filled tc1000 at 61ra is the most comfortable.

Trying to resist getting a tc99 300gr, 6pts, 18x19 27.25 with 333sw strung :)

No difference in control I’m assuming since it’s the same mold.
