Does anyone know if they’re going to bring the TC105 back? I tried contacting them again through FB messenger and they haven’t replied. I sent messages before and they never respond…

I'm not enjoying stringing my React MP 16x19, and now I'm using a multi in the cross I'm really disliking it; is the common solution to use some form of pathfinder tool?

Just bit the bullet and ordered one, are they pretty robust? Read a few comments that they break easily.
Its a great tool, and will help you a lot when stringing 16x19 Angell racquets. There are some youtube videos on how to use it. To me its a lifesaver, and only downsize is that its easy to bend the needle. So not very robust, but if you use it gently it can last you a long time.

I've been using one since mentioned in your previous post, it's a very useful tool. As someone suggested, if it's very tight, some chapstick/vaseline helps. It's a real time saver, especially when trying to get a softer string through a partially or fully covered hole

Why is it needed? Why is it hard to string angell 16x19?

Never had any trouble even with 1.35mm poly strings.. I dont quite get the issue. If you cut the string diagonally so that it Has a sharp point and use pliers to push it though its really quite easy

No its not if you use multi strings. Try it with a new set of gromments and good luck. With 18x20 or 18x19 no problem.

There are a handful of blocked holes and also the grommet holes are incredibly small. The tie off holes are larger by design but are located in the strangest spots. Really can't believe they haven't rectified it this many iterations down the road.
If I knew it was this bad I might have just ordered the 18x19. I’ve even considered just changing racquets it’s that annoying to string. Pathfinder awl will solve the problem though.

I have moved on to a different racket lol. Still like the frame a lot and will use for fun here and there of course. I've just found a better performing frame for my game that also has logical grommet design.

Well that's a tease! :-) Any hints on what toppled the Angell from top spot?

So your saying choose the tc99 over tc95?
would have considered the React MP Pro, the TC99 wasn’t out yet when I was buying, but I am tempted…

I don’t know about the TC95, but from the comments it’s all Angell 16x19 frames that have the issue.

I've just ordered a second TC100 v5 to match the v4 I bought from a friend. I've bought and played a lot of frames.... a lot.... over the past 4 years (including a TC100 in different specs that I didn't like) and this current TC100 is pulling farther and farther away from anything else.

Specs are 71RA, 27in, 305g, 320mm (7pt HL). Briffidi SW/TW strung is 330 and almost 15.

It is still string sensitive. For me, round 1.25 poly is the perfect fit. Most 1.30 poly makes the frame too sluggish and heavy. 1.25 poly turns the frame into magic. Steady as a rock, but still maneuverable enough to be highly creative.

Big sweetspot, and a lot of power off center at the tip, to get those poorly hit balls just over the net for ridiculous winners.

Still dialing in string setup and tension. But settling close to 50lbs, but may try going with higher cross tension to keep the launch angle more controlled.

I'm not sure what I'll spend money on once I have 3 or 4 of these!

As a quick epilogue, the other big reason I am loving this TC100 is that it actually relaxes me in real-time while hitting the ball.

The frame has so much available power on tap, that I can hit with 70% effort and produce a ball that is normally 90% effort from almost all my other frames. The depth and pace keep me at least neutral in most points with less energy expended, so I am able to player higher quality tennis for longer periods of time.

cut sharp edges, use scrap piece of string for blocked holes, no issues.
strung 16x19 TC100, TC95, K7 Red of various versions with no problems, even with various soft multis and SG on brand new grommets. both 4 knots or 2 knots, no issues. lol

Hope you try Durafluxx as I have a feeling it would be a good match @50lbs. I made the mistake of bumping up too much when I tried it in the C100 and it was boardy. I string 1.23 fluxx in the carve @50lbs and it's great!

Yes.
I had a tc95 crack in the throat. I sent pictures, sent the racquet to an address in Australia (I obviously live in Australia) and received the replacement soon after
Do you have a picture of it ? I have a small crack in mine too, in the throat area, and I’m not sure what to do

If any of you Angell fans out there are interested in 2 x TC100 V5, I just posted two on the Classified section.
After trying out various string options, they just weren't for me.

Hello, anyone tried the new K Seven series? I sold my K7 Red last year and developed TE afterwards. Went to the Angell website and learned about the new models but can not find any reviews... Considering the 100 for some free power and a more forgiving sweet spot in order to heal my TE (currently playing with a Yonex VCP100 and a Solinco Whiteout V1).

Anybody who can/want to share his experiences...?

I wonder when is the v6 PJ coming out. Also, is TC99 a D shape beam or a straight beam? Hope them offer 16x20 TC 99 or a TC 98 ala PA98. I know there's a 16x20 K series but i don't like the color and there's no customization on the weight. Also don't like the react PJ for 99head 16x19

I'm currently playing with a Prince Tour ATS 100P modded to 356 g, 30.8 cm, 333 SW (strung specs including 6g Overgrip and 20g Strings/Dampener).
Without overgrip and strings that's 330 g probably around 30 cm balance and probably 303 SW (can't measure SW unstrung).

Which TC99 would be the most similar - spec-wise? 325 / 305 with a bit weight in the buttcap sounds like a match - but would SW on the TC99 be similar or much higher than on my 100P?

With the TC line you can request a specific SW (within limitations) from Angell when you order. I am sure they can match your 100P. The ATS 100P is a really great racquet, not sure if you will get that much extra with a TC99.

I was hoping someone would respond to this as well. I'm going through a TE journey and am about to try out a clash with multis... really wanted to explore all the best options though.
Don't know about the Angells or Wilson, but coming from half a year of TE myself I can recommend Head Gravity Pro and current Head Speed Pro as plush options. To a lesser extent Tour 100P (2015 or ATS version only, with added weight in the handle). Prince Phantom is supposed to be super-comfy, but I didn't like the feel at all (too much give, eats up power). I rather play 100P ATS with a multi (TF Triax@19kg). Triax is expensive, but worth it. Great feel, good spin, super durable. Isospeed Control is even softer (and cheaper), has good control, but I don't like the string movement.

My experience with TE: Do stretching, do use a soft racket/string combination. But most importantly:
#1: Make your racquet really heavy (weight in handle) and use the racquets mass. Stop yanking your arm / super fast swings and learn to use biomechanics and swinging in time instead.
#2: Do eccentric flexbar exercises (maybe the most important factor!). Just twist and hold the tension a few times until you are completely tired. Twice a day, three to four times a week. After doing that, I went from pain on the slightest phyiscal effort to no pain at all within a few weeks. Thanks to the flexbar exercises I'm back to playing 10 to 15 hours a week without any pain!

Thanks. After a few years of 100P 2019 i started a journey.... Gravity Pro (best slice, but too sluggish on FH), Prince Phantom (too noodly), Gravity Tour (meh) , TF T-Fight 305 (nice), TF40 (ok), Vcore98 (lots of power and spin), Speed Pro (nice feel, low launch angle) -> now back to 100P. But only in 2015 or ATS (2019 is too harsh for me on off-center hits; gives me wrist pain). Also think the 100P is one of the best racquets of all time. The only thing I'm missing is a certain feel of the Tecnifibres I'm attributing to the foam filling (but didn't like the grip shape on TF and also there's no trap door for easy customization).

The foam thing made me think TC99 could be a nice option. I also like the factory customization (no need to mess with silicone?) and the optics. But since I already have my customized 100Ps I should probably just settle instead of investing substantial money again.

I have a lot of different Angell frames, have TC95 and TC100 but never tried the TC99. I am a big fan of Angell, but the frame I play now are Prince ATS 100P as it is a really well rounded frame. Best feeling frame is my ATS 95, perhaps you should try that one out.
