No, in addition the precision level and control of the TC95 is noticeably better.
Im a baseliner with an extreme Sw grip who will come to net, and a 2 handed bh. Would you suggest the TC95 or the TC100?

That seems to be the general consensus. The head size of the TC95 means very little anyhow considering how forgiving the huge sweetspot is.
Thank you.
I know that, but my elbow doesn't even like my PS90 strung with Gut/Poly, whereas the PS97S is fine with the same setup.
Strange though.
Still don't know if 63 or 70...
That's why I'm intrigued by the 66 (strung 62/63) of the 97.
The feel is very close between the two. TC100 especially with your grip will get massive spin and more pop. TC95 will give you a touch more control and truly good precision so you have to decide what would mean the most for you.Im a baseliner with an extreme Sw grip who will come to net, and a 2 handed bh. I did. When I first looked into Angell I was planning on getting the TC100. I'd been using 100sq" frames with success and liked the combination of forgiveness and playability. I was hesitant to go back to a 95sq" having ditched my iRadical without a 2nd glance. I had nothing to be afraid of. The foam filled hoop of the TC95 really spreads the sweetspot out and, unless you frame it, you're going to be happy with its forgiveness. Ample power and spin with the best control I've ever gotten out of a 16x19.If this is true, I almost feel like I'd pick the 95 over the 100.
I think you are going to be in for a shock when it comes to serving.Awesome. Glad I went with the 95. It sounds great. The tec 315 is a 97 and my serve is substantially better with it. I imagine the tc95 will give similar results.
I guess, I'll go with the TC95, 16/19 63 RA 320 g 315 mm 27.25 in then.
Does anybody know if it is possible to get the racket strung with gut/poly?
Or doesn't Paul do stringing?

I am about to take delivery of a 97, has anyone done a list of the best strings to suit this amazing frame?!

I am serving great with the TC95. Plenty of power, versatile and precise. It has complimented all my variety of serves. I am confident as heck serving with it.
Alright, thank you!afaik he does not string at the moment but may do in the future...
100% agree with your thoughts. I found similar satisfaction with my current golf bag but that was also after many years of searching and a lot of money.I have been using my TC97s for the last couple of months, playing 3 times a week on avg, I still cannot find some little thing that make me say "I wish it was..." I am such a satisfied customer, so I ordered my 3rd and probably will order a 4th in couple of months. The racquests are also still looking like new, not beaten up, although they actually are. This has been probably my best racquet purchase ever.
I also decided to stick with VS Touch 16 all around, just love these strings especially the first 7 hours of play, they break around 8-9 hrs, but I am not giving it up
Just wanted to clarify any stringing tips for the 95. I read there are double blocked holes on the crosses. I am thinking I will just use scrap strings as a loop to move one of the strings out of the way.

BUT, here's the ironic part. Now that I know I can get racquets that are EXACTLY what I want, I am having a hard time dealing with the fact that two of my TC97s are different in weight and balance due to changing out pallets. I talking like 3 grams and maybe a point of two balance, but it's actually bothering me to the point I just bought another TC97 (my 4th) so I can get the perfect setup again.
It's a sickness.

That's some consistent late-contact he's got goin on there. That's a very common cause of TE if anyone knows this player personally. This fellow seems to be ripping some nice shots with TC 100's at 300g & 310g. Wish there would have been some commentary...
So the updated tally with the current members list is as follows:
TC95 - 17
TC97 - 12
TC100 - 4
TC105 - 1
26. rlau - TC95
I only listed the main Angell being used. I probably thought you were favoring the TC95 at the time.Did you overlook that I have a TC95 as well as a TC97?
Had a great outing with the TC97 last night, and I'm really starting to click with that frame. Played really well with it. I'm considering selling the TC95 and getting another TC97.
I will have a 320 gram coming. I may be one of the only guys here with a 320/320 weight and balance. I think the 95-98 head size is a good match with a little more weight towards the tip of the frame, as that is how my 315 ltd has been set up for years. It makes the racquet almost swing itself on serves and groundies without me losing control of the tip - which happens sometimes on more HL balanced frames for me.
Hey PP just fyi, I don't believe that the different balances within a given weight range reflect any redistribution of weight around the tip of the frame. I say this because when I ordered my TC97, I inquired about the target SW's for the different balance specs at 320g, and Paul said that they all basically had the same SW, with any weight changes occurring in the handle. So yes, while the different balances do reflect a difference in weight distribution, all of that difference is occurring in the handle where it really won't affect SW/weight "towards the tip."
You might've already known that, but just in case.
He told me they all have an unstrung SW between 295 and 305. The first one I got was at the upper end of that range and so the final swingweight was a bit too high for me. So whenever the new stock of 97s arrives, I'm gonna go with a smaller grip size and 10g lighter in stock, and I'm gonna ask him to pick out one of the stock for me that's at lowest end of the range as possible so that the strung swingweight I end up with after I string, add an overgrip, dampeners (I use two O grommets) and head tape will be closer to 325-330 than the last one. But yeah, while there is a small range of the unstrung SW, I don't know if that has any correlation to the weight or balance you order.Hey PP just fyi, I don't believe that the different balances within a given weight range reflect any redistribution of weight around the tip of the frame. @Power Player I was using the POG100 and needed something with comparable stability but in a lighter package for the sake of maneuverability. My TC95 is 310gm unstrung and yet it's as stable as can be. Doesn't flutter in serve returns and is fantastic on volleys. The foam filled design helps that. I don't think you'll have any problems with the stability of the specs you choose.
i have hit with both... the tc95 is the solider and much faster through the air older brother. serves way better and stability is superior. good stick the 200 thoughHas anyone played with Dunlop Biomimetic 200 and would compare it to TC95(preferably 63RA, 18x20)? I found a freakishly good deal on Bio 200 and would welcome any comparison between the two.
yeah its so solidYes that makes perfect sense to me.
It sounds like you can open up the handle and shift the balance more HH or HL the way he puts lead in the different slots of the hair pin. More HL would mean lead closest to the handle I would imagine. Which is absolutely awesome if that is the case.
Besides accepting the death of the 315, what really intrigued me about this frame and got me to buy one is everyone who has one says how solid they are. That is a characteristic of a racquet that I really look for. It is harder and harder to find. Even with the Extreme pro, I accepted it would never be as solid as a frame I would normally choose.

similar flex but the 200 has more flex in the head whereas the tc95 has is more evenly distributed
true true... Until i bought the angell ive regretted unloading my 200. I agree that however if you get the 200 and customize it that frame will give you a very clear idea of the angell specs you would want (though it wont have the customization room). Also the tc95 and tc97 are going to be more forgiving, stable and solid though... which i attribute to construction + less cost saving engineering and materials... basically the angells are like the prostocks that elite pro players have available... not simply easier to customize they are made with more material and care which is immediately apparent when you hit with one.Thank you. I am very much tempted to pull the trigger on the 200. Seems like a stepping stone in Angells direction plus I'm not sure about my preferred specs anymore and I could test it on the 200 to find out. Cosmetics are killer, too and the price for a new frame is outright ridiculous.
Why not so many Users useing the 100?
And please what is the difference between 97 and 97s?
I am thing about an 100 or 97 witch are the differnces?
At this time i am useing a Blade 98s ... can anyone bild a Angell close to the Blade 98s?
I am not familar with its .. headblance ...
