Yes vero. Nadal has 129, Nole now has 130.
I counted 130 for both Nadal and Djokovic:

# of wins against top 10:
Nadal:
2003: 2
2004: 2
2005: 5
2006: 10
2007: 11
2008: 17
2009: 14
2010: 11
2011: 16
2012: 11
2013: 24
2014: 7
2015: 0

Total = 130

Djokovic:
2005: 1
2006: 2
2007: 6
2008: 11
2009: 15
2010: 4
2011: 21
2012: 24
2013: 23
2014: 20
2015: 3

Total = 130

Interesting how Nadal's best year vs top 10 (by far) is 2013. All of Djoko's have been in the 20+ since 2011, a real watershed year in terms of his competitiveness vs top 10.

Djokovic will establish himself as a better player than Nadal over the next couple of years (he will win more than Nadal in that time span), but Nadal can and probably will still win Majors.

And here comes DA bomb: Fed does not have a single season with 20+ wins vs top 10 players. Not 1!!!
Djoko already has 4 consecutive of 20+ wins: 2011 to 2014. (Nadal has 1: 2013).
Djoko is an absolute beast
The Federer fraud finally exposed  (including his supposed unparalleled 2006): weak draws

Wow what a discovery!

Over 18% of his 100 wins have come against top ten competiton. That is almost 1 in every 5 matches he has won, he has beaten someone in the top ten...and we are talking over 1000 match wins here. Crazy!

As for Djokovic, he knows how to take on the heavyweight competition.

LMAO Fed beat less top 10 players in his 3 slam years than Djoko had to in his one slam years yet they still state there is no proof of a weak era

and supposedly 05-07 Nadal was tougher than 11-13 Nadal according to them as well when not a single season in former window trumps a season in the latter:lol:

Also according to them Nadal was declined in 2011 when he won more top 10 matches than he did in 2010

Fed was heavily declined in 2011 despite bookend that year with more top 10 wins in 2010 and 2012 than he did in his 05 peak

From 2011 to 2015 were the toughest draws to win the AO:

1- 2012 Djoko (had to beat 3 top 5 players)
2- 2011 Djoko (had to beat 3 players ranked 2 to 6)
3- 2013 Djoko ( beat 3 players ranked 3 to 6)
4- 2014 Wawa (beat 3 players in top 7)
5- 2015 Djoko (beat 3 players in top eight)

From 1988 (year when AO became a hard court slam) to 2006 (when Fed only had to beat 1 top 10 player), it never happened that players had to defeat more than 2 top 10 (and 5 times no top 10 at all: 1989, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003). Fed was the 1st player who had to defeat 3 top 10 (3 top 9 to be exact) for the title in 2007.

It has become much more challenging to win slams than in the past, not the other way around. Agassi was the oldest player to win AO (on hard) at the age of 32 but guess what? The highest ranked player he needed to beat was #16. No wonder Fed cannot win slams anymore. You simply don't get that type of break in slams anymore.
And since we're talking about age, Djoko was the youngest player to win AO on hard at 20 years old in 2008.

Good stuff, but we already know the response. "Depth" because supposedly when Fed was playing in 04-07 everyone in the field was so good they could all beat each other (not that none of them was good enough to maintain any level of consistency), but then suddenly in 08 the entire depth of the field declined so much 20 year Nole could win a slam and perpetual #2 roddick was being passed in the rankings by Tsonga:)

I think the 2012 run is the most impressive. Nole overcame so much there:

1st he drew the #5 seed in his quarter as the 1
2nd he had to play the later semifinal and it was a 5 set epic with Murray
then he recovered to still survive Nadal in one of the best matches of all time

All this after flaming out in the fall of 2011. I think Nole's fire really burned brightest at that event and he hasn't really been able to recapture that since, but taking 2 of 3 of the most recent slams hopefully means he is headed back there.

SOG finally got 7th time lucky taking down the clay beast.

Two more hurdles await before he can get the career slam and the coveted RG trophy.

Where are all the brethren and sistren ?

Heard the lions call. Checking in. Big win what a match. Finally got over one hurdle now on to the big brutish scott. This is going to be a brute force trauma match. Very nervous when a player has a long winning streak against another player it always means a loss is just waiting to happen. Hope it is not now. Let Murray win Wimbledon at this point. Novak needs to close this tournament out now.

Going to be a hard tournament for Djokovic to close out due to Murray's terrific form. Wawrinka is dangerous if he makes the final. a Djokovic-Wawrinka match-up would lead to many a sweaty palm.

I think he'll do it now though, and close it out for the Career Slam.

Murray is looking very good, is peaking at RG and should carry this through to Wimbledon, where he might have the edge over Djokovic, whereas Djokovic should have the edge over Murray here at RG.

I'm picking Djokovic to beat Murray in 5.

This match must have shocked you, as you were very pessimistic about Djokovic here given recent history here. A pleasant surprise, but I urge caution and for you to maintain a healthy dose of neuroticism.

There's no room for complacency.

I really, really hope he pulls it off despite the insanity. Good thing he's playing his best tennis right now. He's going to need it!

Congratulations to Novak and his classy fans.

This win was long overdue, at least in my view. I expected it in 2013, more so in 2014, and I was 90% sure 2015 will be the year. Not a fan, but this guy worked for it and deserves it. He was better today.

Good post. That first set was what I was expecting. Nadal almost got him. But I think I underestimated how much Djokovic has worked on his mental strength. If he did not pull out that first set my gut call would have prob come true. He did it now I do think he will swing free er now. Murray stonga and or Stan will be brutal guantlet. Zero room.

9 years later, Djokovic stuck to his word and showed that Nadal is beatable. He didn't have to do anything special, he just played his solid game. Hoping he keeps this up, not just for the French but for the rest of the year

Yes, I'm glad, but do you guys think Novak will have enough gas tomorrow?

Wawa just pummeled the living day light out of Roger from his back to back days of play against Monfils.

Very tough to play grandslam semis and finals back to back. Just don't want this to be another USopen2012 scenario.

Yeah me too. I was really scared the 5th would drag on and then, no chance. (I don't know why but somehow I totally expected Novak to lose the 4th. I knew Murray would start with a lot of belief). However, it was pure blitz, boom, minimum energy expanded. Ideal case scenario for Nole :)
