There is no concept of "positive" or "negative" i in the same way there is for real numbers. While -i exists, it is not considered a negative version of i, but rather a different imaginary number.
I am grateful for the good experiences my tennis journey has been bringing me. My last USTA match was as a 3.0C and I was able to beat a 4.0C in straight sets yesterday and kept up with a very good and IMO accurately self-rated 4.5 who grew up playing in Venezuela 2-6 before his lack of conditioning (been busy being a new doctor) caught up to him and we called it a day. He just moved to the area from Bethesda and was happy to finally have played with me and is looking forward to the next time we play next week! I feel grateful to be able to be a respectable player after starting as an adult to players that have grown up playing. It's all my dad ever wanted of me when I was growing up.
