All a bit too late now but I thought Nicky was pretty good today all considered. 30+ aces, created more BPs than Novak did, BH held up pretty well and avoided the HUGE meltdowns that have plagued his career.

Certainly was more engaged watching him than the Anderson, Berrettini, Ruud, Medvedev’s of the world.

The issue he has is, when you only dedicate yourself to tennis for about 12 weeks of a 10 year pro career, you just aren’t prepared for the massive moments. He missed the first point from 40-0 and 0-40 and immediately got in his head, same with the TB. He can learn from this situation, I really believe he can.

the sad part is he could have theoretically been the patron saint of Servebot Pushdom if he had the patience and workmanlike attitude of most guys. His shot tolerance is actually good when he tries. A crying shame that the toughest non geriatric opponent Novak has faced here since 2015 is Kyrgios.

All in all I think he could make it to this stage again but most likely won’t. I’m worried the court case will permanently derail his career, it looks like it may get ugly.

Opposite. You don't train and then all the sudden you play a slam and reach the finals your body isn't used to it.

So where does his stamina come form then to even get to the final or for that matter the tournaments he won? I doubt its from playing CoD non stop. I dont realy see a decline in his skills either too. Players get rusty if they pause for like a month but Nick is miraculously immune to that. No way. I ask again cause i realy dont know: Why a people so shure that he isnt hardly training every? Cause Nick says so or why?
